If you have a waitlist for BWV Dec 4th-11th standard view, 2br you need to read this thread!

I got a confirmation for an August trip today in the mail and called MS because I was told it was a BW view on the phone and the confirmation said Pool view (yes - I know the difference - but the MS person DID tell me that). Anyway - called to clear it up (i.e. force myself not to yell at someone) and was told that my waitlist for the standard view came thru, so moot point there. Took the standard and smiled.

BUT - then I told her I hadn't rec'd my confirmation for my December 1st-8th trip yet and she said - oh yes, you are waitlisted for the 4th-11th.

huh? No I'm not. Didn't ask for that.

Oh well, you do have a ressie for the 1st-8th, BWV, standard 2br, but you are also wait listed for the 4th-11th.

Can you tell when the waitlist was made?

Well, yes it was done on the 12th.

I didn't call MS on the 12th.

She cancelled the waitlist, but not before I asked her at least four times - but I do have the 1st-8th?

SO - if you think you have a waitlist for Dec4th - 11th - you might want to call to confirm it. How scarey is this to think that they may have put someone else's wait list on my account?????

That is scary!! How could that have happened???

I have had them not cancel waitlists before (after I asked to have it canceled) but when I got a new confirmation it was easily fixed. Wow, very unsettling.

What I would like to know is how they had something reserved to the wrong account? That should never happen if they are taking a SS number now when you call.

Still haven't recieved my confirmation for my Dec 4 to 9th ressies...guess I should call....

Well I am Dec 3-11 at a different resort and I still haven't gotten my confirmation either...

Ok you are making me feel better because I haven't received my confirmation letter either for Dec 2 through 9 at VWL. I was getting worried as I was reading this! I will be there this week and think I will call to see where my paperwork is!

If you haven't, get that confirmation number over the phone and tell them you want the written confirmation.

I had this happen at a hotel once. The number saved the day. (or night)
