If you have a reservation with Song out of JFK

I just received an email from Song that states:

"Just a quick heads up to anyone who'll be flying Song out of JFK in New York… The Terminal 2 ticket counter hours will change to 12pm through 9pm tomorrow (1/15). So if you arrive before 12pm, you'll need to check in at Delta's Terminal 3 ticket counter or kiosk instead."

So how hard is it going to be to check into one terminal with 4 kids and luggage and go to another terminal to board!! (I have tickets before noon of course!)

Any Delta experienced travelers know the distance between these two and if it is going to be a big hassle!?

The terminals should be right next to each other with a walkway connecting them. Check out http://www.panynj.gov/ for the airport layout.

Does the email indicate if curbside checkin will be available for Terminal 2.
Does your ticket indicate what gate you are going out of. It is possible that with the cut back in flights that some of the Song flights may be going out of terminal 3 now.

I checked my e-ticket but it doesnt say which terminal....that is a good idea about curbside though. When it gets closer to our dates I will check that out.

I wonder if you will be able to use curbside at terminal 3 if you need to go to the counter there.....I would think that would mean that it is where you would check in and leave your luggage anyway right? So even if curbside were not available at my terminal I should be able to curbside at the other terminal....no?

I would think you should be able to do curb side at terminal 3 if terminal 2 is closed. I don't see why not.

I think that if you go to the Song website and bring up your flight infomation it should show what gate they are currently planning on departng out of. You should also be able to sign up for email notification on any changes in the flight such as gate or time. We flew Song last April and had not trouble leaving. Getting out luggage when we returned was a hassle but I do not think the problem was Song but just how JFK is run in general.
