If You Have a Disney Visa......

We got ours when they were first offered.

There were two 'specials' being given.

1. Where it says "Cardmember Since", the 'date' is "Day 1"
2. Below our name, it says "Disney Vacation Club"

There's no room to say "Disney Vacation Club Member"

I know you can't get the "Day 1" but I think you can still get the "Disney Vacation Club". However I'm pretty sure you have to go through DVC's website or some other DVC link. At least that's the way it use to be.

Neat, I didn't know you could get that on your card. Mine says member since Day 1 and "Charter Cardmember" under that.

Mine is the same...do you think you can have both the DVC and cardmember?? I don't think there'd be enough room.

The new offer that is posted on the member website (the $100 GC for 1st use) is offering the card with that on it. Someone on one of the other threads ordered it, not knowing the special was for DVC, and just got her card with that imprinted on the bottom.

I would call Disney and find out if you could get an updated card with that printed on the bottom.

i called chase direct about it, they said that we have to contact dvc, they gave me an 800 #, which is dvc, the cm told they wish chase would stop telling people to call them about this. the cm said we have to contact chase again b/c they don't print the credit cards. this makes sense to me. so long story short, we don't know who to call:sad1:
maybe our guide would know, what do other people think, yes??????

updated: i just talked to chase again, aparently, according to the customer rep., that was a "special" they were running, just like the "day 1". he said it is no longer available: to have that imprinted on the disney visa. bummer:(

well, here is a 2nd update: I emailed chase to find out, got a response back this morning stating: they have updated our card and we will be getting our new ones in the mail with "disney vacation member" imprinted on it. they didn't say where on the card, but exciting none the less. another way to advertise. our card has always gotten a response when we use it, saying it is cool and neat.:thumbsup2

Mine says "Disney Vacation Club" under my name and I remember the application/advertisement coming in the mail along with some other DVC paperwork (ads or the DVC magazine maybe). That was back in 2007. I haven't seen another one since.

People comment on my VISA from time to time - I've only had one person notice the "DVC" notation (her parents were members so it caught her eye). Which Disney logo did you get for your card?

Mine says: Member since Day 1
Disney Vacation Club Member

I got mine imprinted when the visa card came out. I would call chase and ask them. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Mine says Disney Vacation Club also! It took me alot of phone calls because NO ONE knew what I was talking about. Ask for a supervisor at Chase with the number on the back of the card. Finally they sent us the cards, but they had to send 3 different cards for my husband because they kept spelling Disney wrong on it. It kept saying Dsiney. Can you believe they would not spell Disney correct twice? Third card was correct. They also gave us some Disney points/dollars on our Disney Visa for all the trouble. I love using our card with Disney vacation club on it.

Hi!! I'm a new DVC member and just applied for my Chase Disney Visa last week. When I applied I did it online through the link on the member website. The card just came in today, it does have DISNEY VACATION CLUB imprinted under my name. I did not ask for it, it just came this way. I'm not sure if this info will help or not, but I figured I'd post it.

I applied, through the DVC member site, for the Disney Visa that offered a free $100.00 GC.

I just got it today and it says "Disney Vacation Club" on the bottom. So, for those that were interested, ordering a new one through this promotion will get you one (we already had one but couldn't pass up the $100 GC deal!)

Ours says Disney Vacation Club and Cardmember since Day 1 :)

I just got the runaround too. I called Chase and they said I need to call DVC, called DVC and they said they had no idea what I was talking about.:confused3 :rolleyes1:headache:

I will try to e-mail Chase and see if that works.
