If you had won dinner with the podcat team where would you go?

Brown Derby definitely...I just love that place. I could seriously go for a piece of their grapfruit cake right now......Yum!!!!

If it needed to be someplace out of the parks for some reason I think I would go with Yachtsman, I don't do seafoood and I've been wanting to try Yachtsman.

From there website :Each restaurant is themed after the 1972 Miami Dolphins' "Perfect Season" - the only team in NFL history to finish a season undefeated. The menus are hand painted on an official NFL game football

They also have private dining rooms that hold 15 so noise shoudl not be an issue if that is what you choose.

I understand the football legacy, but not the football menu, why not paint the menu on a helmet?

Everytime I dined there I always felt it was awkward.

It has to be Cosmic Ray's surely/Shirley.

I'd love to see Pete, Kevin and the rest of the gang get dirty with a burger topped-up to the max!

Five Guys. I'd pay and let 'em all go nuts.

I could go for Five Guys. I'm definitely a burger guy and always looking for the next great burger. Sometimes DW feels bad when we go out as she wants to order steak and I go straight for the burger menu.:thumbsup2

Celebration Town Tavern :)

Celebration Town Tavern :)

I've always wanted to to try Celebration Town Tavern and Texas De Brazil. Those are both good options.

Celebration Town Tavern :)

This is my thought to.
Kevin talkes highly about it and i want to try it once.....
It's off-property but that doesn't matter to me.

No one has mentioned my two favorites yet. Flying Fish is great. Get a later seating and request Bob to be your server. The food is great and Bob is the best server I have ever had.

The other pricier choice would be BlueZoo, Todd English's restaurant. The prices are in the stratosphere, but so is the food.

I love Cali Grill, Jiko, and V&A as well, but the food at both of these places is a cut above. You really can't go wrong given your dining companions. I was going to bid on the dinner, but there wasn't enough change between the cushions of the sofa.

Happy Dining!

I'd love to see the podcast team recording the actual podcast and having lunch afterwards. That'd be neat.

I already know I'm going back to Todd English's bluezoo™ in October with a few people on the restaurant boards. We liked it so much we know we want to return.

Oh, and Flying Fish is good, too. I remember the first time I went was during my first solo trip to WDW back in October of 1997. I had the potato wrapped red snapper then, and I knew back then it would have to be a signature menu item. :thumbsup2
