If you had won the ebay auction and won the shirt/dinner with the team where would you like to have the dinner? I think I would tell the team I would like to have dinner at tommorowland terrace noodle station. Just kidding.:rotfl: I would love to see Kevin's face after I told him that though. Seriously I would choose Narcoosee's, it is one of my favorite places to eat in all of Disney. But if the podcast crew would like to have a budget friendly meal I would always be willing to stay in and have Pete cook for us.:lmao:

If money was no object, one of the sginature restaurants that I'm too cheap to pay for. But, if I was picking my favorite, it would be Kona Cafe. I LOVE that place.

I forgot about Victoria and Alberts. You can't go wrong with that. If you couldn't get a res there, t-rex would be a good back up.:rotfl2:

It would be Narcoossee's or The Crystal Palace for me.:goodvibes

I wouldn't choose Victoria and Albert's because I'd feel guilty about someone else footing the bill for that. I'm perfectly happy to splurge when I'm the one paying, but I refuse to order the most expensive items on a menu if someone else is footing the bill. It makes me uncomfortable, just my hang-up, I guess. I've always been that way.

But I do like the signature restaurants, but I have been to the majority of them. So I'd probably choose one of the new ones I've never been to yet, like The Wave, or the new Sanaa at AKV, or the Cat Cora place that's replacing Spoodles, if it's open when I'm down there later this year.

Of course, after reading a wonderful review of Citrico's by a friend on the restaurant boards, I wouldn't object to a meal there, either. :cloud9:

I'm pretty much open to anything other than V&A, basically.

for me, I think any of the signature restraurants as we are usually on the DDP when we go, and don't want to use 2 table service credits. So I've never been to any of them!

California Grill sounds great, or Citricos.........I'd have a hard time picking!

Citricos would be a good choice. I liked it there. I definitely wouldn't choose V&A because I don't dress up. My favorite onsite restaurant though (right now) is Boma. I  that place!

Thanks for starting this thread!! We have been trying to figure this out. We are having such a hard time deciding I think dh has left it up to the crew. We really couldn't decide. I would like it to be somewhat quiet so that we can talk without shouting, I am sure we will have lots of questions for them. (although dh and I are both so shy we will probably just stare at them and nod our heads a lot!!)

We actually said we would be okay trying something off site. Honestly I think we'd be fine at McDonalds as long as we were eating with the crew!!

I would love to hear others ideas so please keep them coming!

To be honest, I would pick something like the picnic option at AK or Fort Wilderness (ideally one would be available at MK). Not because I don't enjoy a nice restaurant, but because I think I would be more interested in the conversation than the nice surroundings. A picnic feels more like friends getting together and catching up.

I know I am a total geek but I LOVE Beaches and Cream! It is fun, the food is great, and I like the atmosphere.

The only down side is the food comes quick! I would want more time.

I might choose California Grill for that reason. My sister (Jacksmom99) fell in love with a wine there for 17.00 a glass! Disney is about the only place we thought that MIGHT be ok!
:rotfl::rotfl:

I love to watch the fireworks and I also like the slow pace of the meal (keeping in mind we left the 2 and 4 year old at home!)

Coral Reef so that I could get a pic of Kevin with a sad little crab cake :rotfl:

I'm not sure what I would really choose, though. Narcoossee's or Cali Grill because of the atmosphere, but Jiko might be fun because it's a place I would probably never try on my own, and it would be neat to go with someone who absolutely loves it so I could see it through their eyes. But all that said, I would feel bad choosing a signature place because they're so pricey.

I don't think I'd want to do a character meal just because they can be a little chaotic and in this case, the crew are the characters! ;)

I would pick Chefs de France if it were inside a park - outside at one of the resorts I would pick the Wave - never been there but after Kevin's review- would love to go there!

Please not T REX :scared1::scared1::scared1: I was never so happy to leave a restaurant as this one. I enjoyed the silence when I got outside.

I would not go into T-Rex if they were giving away the food for free. I can't stand a noisy restaurant. I went into the Downtown Disney Planet Hollywood once because we had a discount voucher, worst mistake I ever made. I couldn't even hear our waiter. I told him to just forget it and we left. I was thanking God as soon as we reached the outside.

Sorry guys, I would love to sound nice and say something budget friendly....but it would be a total lie. As much as I would love to go to V&A to try the food (with the added benefit of making all the guys wear suits) I wouldn't want to put Pete out that much. Jiko is my favorite restaurant, but it is kind of dark and really not what I would choose for a large group. So I guess I would go with Yachtsman, it would fit all the criteria I would be looking for. :thumbsup2

I am so jealous of you guys. I hope you have a great time. As far as another suggestion for dinner we left property one time and had a wonderful dinner at Bonefish Grill. I believe this restaurant is on Sand Lake Road but I could be wrong. There is also a mom and pop type place about a block down from this place with a similar name, so be careful and don't confuse this one from the other one. We also had a wonderful dinner one night at Ruth's Chris Steak House. I think it is also in the same area. Both places are wonderful and you can actually have a nice conversation and not be rushed.
