If you had to skip one of the 4 major parks, which would it be?

I would also skip Animal Kingdom. Even though I love Everest and Dinosaur, it's too far to drive to ride two things, have lunch and come home.

I don't care for MGM, I loved the other 3 though. MGM just didn't have that magic for me, I hate to say it but it was a massive disappointment. I love Fantasmic, The coaster, & tower of terror but that's pretty much it- I wasn't even fond of the shows that much either :confused3

MGM, handsdown. To be honest i love all parks, but in MGM i don't see that much Disney, theres only a couple reasons why i go to MGM and that's RNR, Tower of Terror (sometimes even) and because my cousin works there... otherwise, i'd really just pass MGM, doesn't appeal to me :confused3 I would never be able to skip Animal Kingdom it's such a beautiful park, beautiful theme, it's a nice park to really have fun and take in everything thats around you! :goodvibes

Animal Kingdom. I love animals but the only rides I enjoy at AK are Everest, the safari, Dinosaur. I went for the first time last year and it just didn't seem as "disney" as the other parks, but maybe that's because all my childhood memories are at the other parks. :confused3

Well, I am going to a conference in March, so probably during the evening hours, two nights I'll try to go to WDW...so I'll have to give up two parks. Due to the hours I'll be at the conference, I'll be able to maybe go to two parks- one will need to be MK, the other one is a toss up between HS and Epcot. Need to look at the hours and see which one would be worth the money.

if i could choose one of those parks, it would be epcot. more fun...only thing i really like at MGM is star tours, plus, if you are thinking about going at night, the stunt shows will be over, and apart from the muppet's, star tours and the backlot tour, you're be stuck for something good...

It depends. The two parks I can never miss are Epcot and AK, so if it comes down to DHS or MK, I'd pick to go to the one that has a new attraction or a new refurb I want to check out. So I could see myself skipping the MK if I feel the DHS had a new or refurbed attraction I wanted to see. So for me it would have to be either DHS or MK. I know I'm strange:dance3:

Skip? Umm...that is not computing. OH! Do you mean skip through? Like Dorothy in Oz? Arm in Arm? I can't think of not attending a park. :D

OP - If you think your kids won't be very excited about MGM/DHS then skip it.

Personally, I love it, and I loved it when I was a little kid.
One of my most favorite Disney places is the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground. Even now that I'm 21 I still love playing there...

I really wouldn't be able to pick one to skip, though if I had kids I would probably skip Epcot. Just because it is has so big, and really needs multiple days to conquer.

I suggest you go, and then decide on which to skip when you get there.
For example, if you wake up in the morning and it's raining, your kids would probably be a lot happier in Epcot, because just about everything is inside.

The only reason we will be going to MGM this December is for the Osbourne Lights and Fantasmic. My girls do like Star Wars and hopefully we'll run into some Stormtroopers again this year, but my girls thought the Star Tours ride was lame (they were 10 at the time). None of the other rides are worth the trip.

We would probably skip MGM. The only things we really enjoyed there on our recent trip were Rock N Rollercoaster and the stunt show. The backlot tour was okay. And my husband likes TOT but I'm not a fan. And that was really it.

Animal Kingdom is actually our favorite WDW park.

The only park my Mom and I have ever been to is the Magic Kingdom, so I'm wondering if we could skip it for our upcoming trip... but does it still seem like Disney if you don't go to the Magic Kingdom?

I'm thinking we can do MGM in a half-day, and then a day for Epcot and Animal Kingdom - aaah, don't know!

i don't think no trip to orlando is final with out a trip to WDW!. i think you could probably do epcot in a half day, go for the evening and watch the parade. save the morning for mgm

as for animal kingdom, really cool theme park

animal kingdom... but then again we skipped it last time and we were there for a whole week. It was really hot out and neither my mom or I wanted to do that much walking in the heat, EE wasn't opened yet though otherwise we would have been there half the days just for that :P If my trip this summer doesn't fall though I'll actually get to go on it :D
