If you had to pick one...

restaurant at each park for lunch or dinner w/ little kids, which one would you pick and why?

I would tend to stick with buffets where everyone can get a variety -

Epcot - Biergarten. My kids loved the band and being able to get up and dance was a great break for them. Also we all really liked the food.

MK - CP. A must do on every trip for us. The Pooh characters are fun and the food is good.

AK - Tusker House. Again the variety of food is good.

DHS - "50's Cafe. There is enough visually to keep kids occupied and the food is really good.

Hope this helps some. :)

My children are 5 and 10 yrs old. So maybe not that little. But if I had to choose one from each park, it would be:

AK - Yak and Yeti - because the food is great, when my son was younger, he used to order the egg roll in the children's menu and liked it. Now, my daughter orders it and my son eats and and shares his beef and broccoli or chicken noodles with her.

MK - Tony's Town Square - although we don't like this place very much and we tend to go out of the park and eat dinner at 'Ohana- TTS would be the one we chose in the park if we had to - the pasta is fine - but one thing I really love about it is the Tiramisu. My son ordered the spaghetti and meatballs once and didn't like it, he said the sauce was tasteless. They would tend to order the pizza.

Epcot - Teppan Edo for my son and Akershus for my daughter - the food and entertainment at Teppan Edo is great, while Akershus is more for the princess interaction (the food is not very good)

HS - Mama Melrose - the food is great, my son absolutely loves the chicken parmesan and my daughter orders the pasta and shares a bit of his chicken. However, for atmosphere, Sci Fi Diner is a unique experience, the food is not great, but it's fun for kids to sit on the car and watch cheesy films

I have a DS 5 and DD 3 and these are the best choices for us:
AK: Tusker House- good food on the buffet for the adults and kid selections like chicken nuggets and mac & cheese for my picky eaters.
Epcot: Garden Grill- We enjoy the food here and of course the character interaction is great for the kids.
HS: 50's Prime Time Cafe- Yummy food (the pot roast is delicious!) and a fun atmosphere for the little ones.
MK: Crystal Palace- Dinner with Pooh and friends. What else can you ask for! :goodvibes

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace definitely. Great atmosphere and the food is really good

Epcot - Garden Grill. The restaurant rotates and again, yummy food

Hollywood Studios - Sci Fi. you get to sit in cars and watch movies!

Animal Kingdom - the only restaurant I like here is Flame Tree BBQ. It's not a sit down meal, it's counter service, but there are so many great quiet places to sit and the bbq is yum!

MK: Crystal Palace/Plaza
EP: Tutto Italia/Chefs de France
HS: Sci Fi. We don't really like a lot of restaurants at this park, but have had great luck with Sci Fi multiple times and the kids loved it as well.
AK: Yak & Yeti. My kids are picky and still really liked it here

MK: Another vote for CP here! Fun characters and pretty good food.
HS: 50s PT cafe. We had a great CM who made it fun and we thought the food was good.

We only ate CS in the other parks this past trip, but at Ep in 2004 we ate at Akershus and it was good. Princess breakfast, ok food, not spectacular, not bad... AK I don't really have any suggestions other than Rainforest Cafe for the atmosphere. We went to the Contemporary and ate at Chef Mickey's that day.

Exactly the same for me!

These favorites are picked by my 3 year old DD:

MK- CRT (If we couldn't get a CRT ADR, then it would be CP)

Epcot: Biergarten. She absolutely loves that place. My friend's little boy loves it too. (Akershus would be a close second-- she considers Biergarten, Akershus and CRT tied as her absolute favorite WDW restaurants).

AK- Tusker House Breakfast-- Good food, and of course Mickey and friends

DHS- Mama Melrose- We aren't crazy about any of the food options at DHS, but DD likes pasta and she ate well there.

MK - Crystal Palace - breakfast lunch or dinner is amazing there! Great characters and great food!

EP - Garden Grill - a great character meal! yummy food! Kids get to decorate their own cupcakes for dessert!

AK - we like Pizzafari! My kids love the pizza there and the animal decorations!

DHS - Pizza Planet! - If your kids have seen Toy Story, they will love this place! The reviews are usually average food-wise, but kids love the Pizza Planet atmosphere!

At the parks:

MK: Cinderella's Royal Table (for girls) or Crystal Palace (boys and girls). Also consider doing Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort (one short monorail ride away from MK).
Epcot: Arkeshus Princess Storybook in Epcot's Norway (for girls) or Coral Reef (for boys and girls); though I would also consider several other choices as there are sooooo many places to choose from at Epcot.
HS: Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre or 50's Prime Time (never been to the latter but have heard good things about it).
AK: Tusker House for a late breakfast (close to lunch time) so you can still see the characters.

At MK
TS-Crystal Palace for the characters and variety with the buffet.
CS-Cosmic Rays

Epcot
TS-Akershus or Biergarten, buffet, character at Akershus, live entertainment at Biergarten
CS- Sunshine Seasons

DHS
TS-50s Prime Time
CS-Pizza Planet

AK
TS-Tusker House
CS-Pizzafari

Our kids are 6 & 7. Here are their votes:

MK:
The Plaza (real peanut butter and jelly sandwiches shaped like Mickey::MickeyMo)
They used to enjoy CP but they don't love the characters there anymore..:sad1:

Epcot:
Teppan Edo (#1) or Coral Reef :fish:(#2)

DHS:
50's Prime Time - best chicken nuggets and the PB&J milkshake.:lovestruc

AK:
Tusker House for breakfast.

MK: CP-Love Pooh Bear

AK: Tusker House

Epcot: Teppan Edo or Rose & Crown

HS: 50s Prime Time or Sci Fi

For each, a TS and a CS

MK: CP/Aunt Polly's
AK: Tusker House/Pizzafari
DHS: 50s/Pizza Planet
Epcot: Teppan Edo/Sunshine Seasons

MK - DEFINITELY Crystal Palace
Epcot - Biergarten - my kids love this place
DHS - can't choose between Sci-Fi and 50's Primetime, we all love both
Animal Kingdom - my kids really liked Tusker House but I like Yak & Yeti better
