If you had to pick just ONE character meal....

LTT... loved the character interaction and the kids actually ate the food.

We have only done CP, Akerhus, and Playhouse Disney. Good luck picking and have fun planning your trip.

Chef Mickeys. It might not have knock you out food, but it doesn't get more Disney than Chef Mickeys! We loved it there.

For us it would have to be Ohana, just so relaxing, or Chef Mickey, just wouldn't feel like a Disney trip without it.

Which place has the best food? Yea, yea, kids want characters, I want good food - so can we have both?

1900 Park Fare breakfast for food and characters! Next trip we are trying Crystal Palace for the first time (DD's choice b/c we've never seen Piglet), plus we can get into the MK early for some empty castle pictures!

Chef Mickey's definitely for the experience. I didn't have bad food when we went, but the food was awful at CP....maybe it was an off day.

We're going to Ohana's this May- can't wait to try it out now after seeing how many people love it.

We've been to almost all of them and Chef Mickeys for breakfast is the best in our book!

Cape May by far!!! We stayed at BC during the summer and had an ADR for one morning. Later that night, DD16 asked for me to call to see if we could go again the next morning and it was available. DH loved it so much that when we were planning our December and January trips, DH kept asking "where is breakfast??? I want to go back to that other place!!"

CRYSTAL PALACE is our all time fav. Chef Mickey's would be our next favorite. Haven't done Ohanas since it changed from Minnie's Menehue (we don't like Stitch at all). We are going to try Cape May Cafe this year because we heard it was superb.

We really enjoyed LTT. The character interaction was the best we're ever experienced and the atmosphere was calmer than the other character meals we've attended. Also, everyone enjoyed the food.

We ate at a lot of character meals in December...I'll rank them in order of preference!

Chef Mickey's (dinner)
1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Princess Storybook - Akershus (breakfast)
Hollywood & Vine (lunch)
Crystal Palace (dinner)

CM and Park Fare were both excellent. I rated CM better by a hair because of my love of all things Mickey...but both had excellent character interaction. Park Fare's food was better though (Not that CM's was bad).

This was the first time we have ever eaten at CP (dh and I did breakfast at Artist's Point YEARS ago w/ Pooh and friends) and after all the glowing reviews I've heard I was eagerly anticipating it. Both dh and I were underwhelmed. The food was fine, the character interaction was fine...but neither were anything to write home about. It was ds' birthday (2yo) and our server brought him his cupcake 5min after we were seated! Yeah ds really wanted to eat his dinner BEFORE the yummy cupcake that was in front of him! I distinctly got the impression that the server just wanted to get the birthday obligation over with. CP won't go back on our list again unless we really need an option for a TS meal. I'd rather leave the park and go to CM's!

In the past we've eaten at Cape May Breakfast and the Castle (breakfast and dinner...before they added the Fairy Godmother activities)... both were great experiences and I'd do them again.
