If you had to get stuck on a Disneyland Ride, which one?

My family and I once got stuck on Alice in Wonderland, right at the end, you know how you're on that track outside up high facing Matterhorn? We got stuck in the evening, right when the parade started! It was Christmastime and beautiful with all the lights and we had a perfect view of the parade. One of our best Disneyland memories ever.

8. IASW (just to see if I can survive without jumping out of the boat to escape)
7. Pirates of the Caribbean (right before Jolly Roger)
6. Jungle Cruise (anywhere)
5. BTMRR (In one of the caverns, preferably that first one with the waterfall and the pools)
4. Matterhorn (anywhere)
3. Splash Mountain (Right before the final drop)
2. Indiana Jones (on the fiery downhill before the boulder)
1. Pirates of the Caribbean (right next to Jack)

I was stuck on Indy for about 25-30 minutes about 10 months ago. It was the best thing ever! We got stuck in the "skull room" right after the snake scene. We were evacuated and had to be escorted out by a team of attrcations operators and some security cast members to ensure everyon's safety. Honestly, it was one of the coolest experiences I've had in a long time. Very unique!

This may be sharing too much, but I never want to be stuck in POTC.

A friend who works there once told us that it is actually much creepier to be stuck in POTC at night after all of the power is shut off, than to be in the HM. The reason - there aren't really many animatronics with complicated hydraulics in the HM. Everything shuts off clean and simple.

POTC, on the other hand, has a lot of animatronics hydraulics in a smaller area. Just because the power has shut off, doesn't mean things come to a rest.... they creak and groan and well do other things. She was working on something after hours and all of a sudden the pirate next to her turned his head to stare directly at her with that blank look! She said she moved very quickly to the nearest backstage room with plenty of lighting!

Every time I ride POTC, I find myself thinking, "You could not pay me enough to be in here after hours. The characters would creep me out!

I got stuck on Mr. Toad's with my boyfriend.. and I never thought I'd be scared by that ride.. but staying in ONE spot where those two little blacklight old guys are constantly STARRING at you?!?! OMG, I started to freak out and hide behind my boyfriend because I didn't like looking at them

I see that other posters have wanted to be stuck on Splash right before the final drop, well we did that several years ago. We were at the top on the final bend of the float before going up the last hill. It was really cool up there. We could see forever! Since it was really broken, CMs helped us out of our log and then down inside of the mountain. Kinda neat! We were given a fastpass to use anytime the rest of the day, so of course we went back on later in the day.

Stuck at the Top of Splash Mountain sounds heavenly .

I got stuck in HM for about 10 mins. during the HM Holiday a few years back in the room where usually the attic is (it's stockpiled with spooky presents during the Holiday)... It was fun until I started getting spooked out.

I don't think I could take IASW. I'd go nuts after about 15 minutes.

I think I would prefer to get stuck in the skull room in Indiana Jones. I've heard that there is a skull in there with Mickey ears, but I can't ever seem to find it because you go through there so fast.

Well I pick the HM , in either the ball room , the attic or the cemetary. wait is that the bulk of the ride? Yeah, the HM for me. Seriously if it was the only ride in DL working I would have no problem riding it over and over.
I even love standing in line for it. I almost miss standing in line for it when there is no line. There is so much to see. We have many times walked through the whole queue just to take pictures. Have you ever gone in that fp entrance to check stuff out at night? It is kind of spooky.
K, thats my vote! Oh, and we are renewing our AP's in just 4 days and dontcha know I am spazzing out!! I almost cant sleep!!

My father got stuck on IASW for about an hour many years ago and would never go on it again. As kids, we would beg and plead and make him feel guilty, but he would never go back in. I think he goes a little postal when he hears the song!

My personal vote: The uphill portion of HM, so if I got tired of looking at things, I could relax, lean back, and take a nap!

My Brother and SIL got stuck on BTMRR once, but I think it was in one of the tunnels, so it wasn't so fun.

That is a tough question, for I would have to choose between POTC and HM (non nbc takeover) so, hmm, let me see................. I don't think that I can choose, (ugh) o.k. I will go with the Haunted Mansion, so I can finally dance in the ballroom, I have been wanting to do that since my first visit when I was 9 years old.

Now, I would have a field day of course with the rest of the mansion as well, but my first stop would be the ballroom, now if I happened upon an exit door, I would just pretend like I did not see it, because I did not have my glasses on, (don't wear glasses, but Dl. does not know that shhhh)
that totally would be an adventure for me, of course if I am really lucky, I will be the only person on the ride at the time! that would be a huge bonus for me, for I do not always like to share, nor play nice! I am however really great when it comes to winning! hey I do not gloat, not at all, I am just very happy about it. like anybody, I am sure. he he!
