If you HAD to choose....

I'd choose..... MGM for the animation section and rock n rollercoaster (my kids fav's) oh and I'd also choose Animal Kingdom for the shows..... oh wait... I was supposed to choose just 1??

I guess it really would depend on what your preference was. I'd have to say I like both parks equally but then again I've only been to AK once. Looking forward to trying it and expedition everest and dinosaur this October. Kids and dh are looking forward to MGM and the animation part and the new stunt show we didn't get to do last time!

When I have to chose (which I have several time) I have to chose MGM.

I can't imagine doing WDW without doing MGM, however I have not been to AK yet.

I love MGM first off for the TOT, but I just really like the the whole feel of the park (I have sentimental attchements to the park to since that is where I got engaged :flower: )

I like MGM over AK. But my kids love AK so we haul my butt to AK every time...heeheehee. S

Most definitely MGM for RnR, ToT, love the Beauty and the Beast show and those funny street actors. Just to name a few things.

I love MGM but it's really hard to beat the Festival of the Lion King! ::yes:: They are two very different parks so it really depends on your preferences!

Well, I would wait until Everest opens before making my decision!!!

AK for me and my family. I don't do thrill rides... Space Mountain is my idea of a really extreme ride. And my 7-year-old is kind of the wrong age for MGM... too big for the little kiddy stuff, not into the grownup movies, and would be scared of the big rides. And AK has ANIMALS! :dog2: :pug: :dog: ::MinnieMo I love critters as long as they don't have more than 4 legs.

MGM ... hands down! But as others have said, it depends on your family situation. It's only been this past year that our kids go on ToT and RnR. I like AK for FOTLK show, Kali and Kilamanjaro ... the rest I can live without. JMHO.

MGM. Rides, shows and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire!

MGM!!!! Absolutely!!!
Although my dd likes Animal Kingdom, Muppets 3D is at MGM and I'm the biggest Muppet fan in the world!!!!!! (go ahead, ask me anything about them! lol) so it would definitely be MGM all the way!!!!!
::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

AK I just watched a podcast that had a ride preview video of Expedition Everest and man does it look awesome.

We prefer AK - DS is 4 and loves Dinos. We love the rides at AK and the general theming. We find MGM doesn't have as much to offer for our family.

PS - We do still do both though LOL

Depending on your kid's ages - but I love AK no matter what age you are - my Dad and Grandma went with us last year and had to choose, and we took them to AK with our kids - when you add up the safari, Festival of the Lion King, Tough to be a Bug 3D show, walking through the trails and seeing gorillas and tigers, the Dinosaur ride, walking and shopping in Africa, the Pocohontas show, the Jungle Jammin parade, all the characters you can meet (best place for Eeyore and friends!), and just admiring the Tree of Life, you have a full and wonderful day of fun and memories for everyone. My teenagers love MGM for the thrill rides, but they'd still pick Animal Kingdom - the spinning coaster and Dinosaur ride and kali river rapids are thrilling enough, and they'd ride the safari all day if I let them, because it's different every time. No matter what you choose, it's Disney and you'll love it!
However, if you do choose MGM make absolutely sure you're there on a night Fantasmic is playing and DON'T MISS IT!!! That alone is worth the admission.

If I HAD to choose, then it would be MGM because ToT is my absolute favourite ride and RnR is dh's. We have to see Fantasmic every time too.
And the girls can never get enough of The Beauty and the Beast show.

Almost forgot to add, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable are there. we would never be forgiven if we purposely chose something else over those 2 characters.

But, I must add that we also love AK. the shows are fantastic. Slower paced park, kids discovery club, lots to see and learn.
