If you had to choose which way would you have spent the billion dollars?

2 more expansions, of course. (When we went to Hollywood Studios, we {get ready for an Idiotic Comment} did not use Fastpass because we thought it cost money. We were stupid, ok?) Anyways, that proves you can have fun without fastpass/fastpass+/whatever...so yeah, I would much rather have new rides or something.

I'm ready to get flamed for this 'cause I know it's not "Disney"....but how about a big hyper coaster or something? I'd ride it all day. Or maybe an Aristocats ride, or...

Why should you get flamed? Over 93% have said the money would have been better spent on park expansions. That is a pretty overwhelming margin!

Another main attraction is a good idea. Problem with it, FP+ means you would not be able to ride it all day...

You could ride once with FP+, then spend the rest of the day waiting in line to do it again...

Before I voted, I said to myself "it has to be at least 90% in favor of more expansions." Surprise, surprise...I was right. OK, that wasn't surprising at all.

Since the company often slashes budgets and cries poverty, this poll is not flawed at all. Disney has a history of "robbing Peter to pay Paul" in order to maintain their steady earnings results and keep Wall Street happy. This while turning a deaf ear to the people who actually pay the bills: Disney guests and fans.

Yes, they most certainly could have diverted all the MyMagic money into actual improvements in park infrastructure (i.e., new and plussed rides, attractions and lands) instead of IT. That is called prioritizing. That is OUR priority.

Maybe they would have, if they had run polls such as this one, and seen that an overwhelming majority want new attrations -- not new reservation systems. Of course, that would require actually listening to their customers, not the suits on Wall Street.

I like your thinking! Imagine for one minute if Disney had done just that. There would be such joy and excitement on the boards. I really think the execs outthink themselves sometimes.

If they had polled us on our preferences, they would have had to admit that they were wrong and that their priorities are screwed up. And admitting that is unthinkable
