We are going to WDW with my mom and her bf in June. We will have the DxDP & would like to do 2-3 meals without kids (using the hotel childcare). I would like the kids to be in the childcare at the hotel where we are eating.

We are staying at WL & mom is staying at FW.

I think that the Boardwalk would be a fun area to go, but we COULD do this with the kids.

SO, if you had to choose 3 signature restaurant dinners (on hotel property)...where would you go? We are 4 adults (3 of us eat only seafood, otherwise vegetarian).

Thanks:)

Artist Point......omg Smoky Portabello Soup is all I can say! :worship:
Flying Fish
California Grill or Jiko

for sure Narcoosees very adult feel. Amazing lobster. LOVE LOVE LOVE and its a great use of a signature credit

We will be dining at California Grill, Narcoossee's and Jiko during our next trip- but I LOVE the Flying Fish idea!

Thanks everyone! I was thinking Cali Grill, Flying Fish, and then deciding between Narcoosees, Citricos, and Artist Point. AP would be most convenient, but we did go there in August (also went to Jiko). We haven't been to the others since our honeymoon 11 years ago:)

I wonder how difficult it would be to take the Disney transportation? Are there any boats from WL to other resorts like GF or CR? Or would we take a boat to MK & then boat to the resorts?

Thanks:thumbsup2

There is definitely a boat that goes to CR, but I don't know about GF.

Our next trip will will be eating at Citricos, narcossese (SP) and for Christmas:santa: eve CG Is it December yet :rotfl2:

Boat to MK then to GF, let's you off right outside Narcoossee's.

Narcoossee's
Cali Grill
Jiko

Flying Fish - Excellent restaurant with lots of seafood options!

Citricos - Mediterranean type cuisine, so they always have several fish options, and it's my favorite signature.

California Grill - they tend to have more veggie options than the other signatures. There are always fish items, plus all the sushi.

I would AVOID Narcoossee's! They are more seafood focused cusine, but their quality and service were just not up to the level the other places were, for me at least.

I would take a look at the menus, that may help you decide better.

Because of the fish I would pick

Flying Fish
Citricos
Ca Grill

I have never been over the top thrilled with the fish entrees at Jiko. Brown Derby has a nice fish entree and a tuna tartare appetizer that's decent. AP has their signature salmon (not a fan of it). Yachtsman is a steakhouse so that makes no sense. And Narcoosees is my least favorite of the signatures.

If you decide you want to pay OOP to have an outstanding meal that blows Disney's signatures out of the water, head over to bluezoo at the Dolphin.

California Grill - they have the best fish dish - bass with stir fry veggies & rice - I've gotten it twice already & the salmon is very good
Citricos - fish was very good here too, a fish dish with little pasta and other things in it I forgot but it was incredible.
Jiko - only went once but I know they have a lot of fish dishes, we both plan to get fish next time. The table next to us both ordered it and it looked good.

I haven't tried Flying Fish yet - will be trying next month, so that might change my opinion.

Here's the list:

1. Jiko
2. California Grill
3. Citricos
4. Artist's Point
5. Brown Derby
6. Flying Fish
7. Yachtsmans
8. Narcosees
