If you had ONE wish, what would you wish for?

For my father to be well again.. He is very sick and has been for the last 11 years.. He is turning 80 on his next birthday and I worry for him every day. :sad1:

Wow, I was going to wish for a ton of money, but your post breaks my heart. I wish I can give my wish to you.

That the adoption of our first child will happen soon enough that we'll only have one more childless Christmas.

Good one!!!

Next week my DH will ride 192 miles on his bike to raise money to find cure for cancer. (my DD6 is a survivor) The ride is called the Pan Mass Challenge and 100% of funds go directly to the Dana Farber and Jimmy Fund. The organization raises millions each year so perhaps a cure will be found in the near future. We believe this will happen:)

To go back 5 years before my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor, cure his cancer and everyone else's cancer so the can be healthy and lead normal lives. Cancer SUCKS!

Without a doubt HEALTH :thumbsup2!! Not only for all my loving family, but for everyone here and in the world. Both my dear parents were cursed with cancer, sadly I lost my dear Dad  to the beast 6yo ago, but praise God my soon to be dear 80yo Mom is a BC survivor . You can have it all.....but it's more difficult to enjoy the journey unless you're blessed with your health and of those you love. :flower3:

For another baby!! (Hopefully it would be a girl!!) After a horrible pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage, and 4 years trying (2 of those with fertility treatments, that have not worked at all) it would be a dream come true to be able to have another child. I am truly blessed to have a happy, healthy and amazing little boy though, so if he is the only child I have, I am the lucky person in the world!

To be happy.
I would wish for lots of money but I would either spend it all or somehow wind up in debt and neither of those sound good.

To obliterate cancer. It's an evil that touches so many lives. Lost my mom a year ago. RIP Mimi.

I want a fricken pony! (well a horse I'm a bit too old for a pony) I have asked for one EVERY Christmas and birthday to no avail.

I'd wish that I could wish for World Peace.

Seems shallow, but I'd still wish for at least $5 million.

I could provide financial security for my family and help out so many others, including charities. Such as St. Jude's Hospital.

Every time dh buys a lottery ticket, I say the same thing: "If we win, I would love to open a homeless shelter for teens."

So, I guess my wish would be to have the money to do that. We have quite a few homeless teens and young 20 somethings around here, it makes me so sad to see them.

For my DH to find an awesome job, with awesome benefits, and is close to home (this doesn't mean high pay, just a job that makes him happy - one that he would want to work at until retirement).

To never run out of money so that we are not in debt
and
I could always keep funding the cancer and diabetes research [and any other health problem]

I want TinkInPink's pony.

Alternately, I wish men would be more like women, women more like men, and everybody to be more like William Shatner.
