If there was a Disney park in your city/state, would you still visit WDW regularly or as much as you do now?

I would enjoy both, but I think I still would visit WDW in Florida. Even if Epcot was recreated totally in my state I think I'd always look at it as a copy instead of a replacement!

Hmmm...I don't know Liz. If it was a close reproduction of WDW then I have to say I would giddily skip to the annual pass office and love every minute of having Disney in my own back yard!!! I would start my own business of making Disney magic for people and be a pixie!! I would be so busy wallowing in the magic that I think there wouldn't be much time for Orlando (gasp)! It would have to be really similar though!! Nice to think about!

on what scale the park was. Although I'd still visit WDW, just not sure how much.

Until the kids were bigger, I'd stay in my own backyard. When it's just Dh and I again, I'd probably go back for the memories.

When they were entertaining the thought of Disney America being built here I had plans to be there all the time! I thought it would be great not to have to go to Florida that many times when it was in my backyard...

So yeah I think I would frequent MORE than I already do the one in Florida.

I am sure I would still go to WDW...but maybe not as often. Nothing beats the Florida warmth in the winter :)

It'd be cool to have a nearby park, but I would feel the loss of that magic. I wouldn't visit it all that often. In fact, we have a theme park nearby here and I hate it. I would hate for me to start disliking that Disney park if I went too often. So I'd probably space out my vacations between WDW and the home park. :)

I dunno, I guess it depends if I grew up there or not. I grew up in NYC and NEVER visited the major attractions, thought it was uncool. I think as an adult, if a park that really suited me was nearby I'd be there regularly!

We have lots of "adults" on the USF board that go every weekend because they live in or near Orlando. I get the feeling I'd be one of them... :p

I think I would still go to Florida, because I enjoy Florida and the drive down so very much!
