If you had a cash reservation (direct through Disney) at a DVC resort, was your room # texted to you

If you booked directly through Disney for a DVC villa, and you arrived many hours after 4:00 pm check in time, did they text/email you your room number ahead of time?
We have a reservation for OKW and our flight arrives around 7 pm. We've already done the online check in--should I expect to get a text around 4 pm with my room number? Or is it more likely that we will need to go to the front desk to find out where we were assigned? Or will we likely get a text around 7 pm when our flight lands? Thanks!
 
Normally I'd say yes, as 99.9% of the time I've had our BLT room number texted to me when our room was ready. Our flight always lands around 9:00 am and I've gotten a text anywhere from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. I say 99.9% of the time because earlier this month I received a text message (at 6:00 pm, while we were on our way back from MK) that said "Please see the front desk" instead of our room number. I'm not sure why I got that but I was a bit panicky thinking that they were moving us to a different resort or room category (I always book a 2 bedroom ... we like our space!). I was given our room number when I went to the desk that night.
 

One thing I have been doing, regardless of resort, is putting my estimated arrival time a couple hours earlier than I actually expect to get there. When I was putting my accurate time, I would get the email at or after that time, when it wasn't always convenient to be checking the phone. By putting the time earlier, I've been getting the email about an hour after the estimated arrival time I give them, which is still an hour earlier than I'm actually arriving. I prefer email to text.

I get the email regardless of whether it's DVC or a regular resort.
 
We recently stayed at CCV. We arrived at about 1030, coming from a Disney cruise. As Canadians, we have to check in at the front desk anyway to get our Magic Bands. Our room was not ready yet [we expected this as our room was getting a special cleaning for medical reasons]. We did receive a text, and email, as well as a notification from and in the MDE app at around 4 pm that our room was ready.

BTW, throughout the day we would check the MDE app from time to time -- once your room is ready it will show you the room assignment.

The room text doesn’t happen for everyone.

Only time I’ve gotten one was after we’d stopped at the front desk. So I don’t know if it was because of online checkin or the interaction with the CM.
