If you were going to Disney for 2 weeks (and had 2 years to save), where would you stay? You can spit your stay also if you want.

Thanks!!!

I'd split the stay just a little -- I'd do my first 3 days at the GF and my last 11 days at AKL.

I'd probably book a "go-go" resort for the first 5 - 6 days. For me, that would be the CR. Then, I'd want to totally chill out and spread out, so I'd probably switch to OKW. For me, the resorts would match my vacationing style: a little hyper the first few days, then totally relaxed and balanced once I get all the excess energy out. :goodvibes

For 2 weeks I'd stay in a 1 bedroom villa. A week at BWV and a week at VWL.

1st choice--Cinderella's castle. :goodvibes
I wish :wizard: :wizard:

I would stay at the All Stars.
The buses are wonderful. :sunny: It takes about 20 min.to get to MK but,Epcot,MGM,and AK are only 10 min.away which is one the of the resons I  love the All Star Resorts --they can't be beat. I have visited WDW more than a dozen times with the 1st time in Oct. 1971. It was brand new. :cloud9: I've stayed at FW, Disney Inn, a few the of Hotels on hotel Blvd., CBR and the towers at the Contemporary. I got to see the MK from my balcony at the Contemporary and I'm happy :flower: I got to experience it once. I just prefer the All Star Resorts.
The theaming is pure Disney. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
My last 4 visits have been at The All Stars and this fall when we take dd,dsil, and our grandson age 3 we are staying at the All Stars Music. I thought about AKL and even though we can well afford AKL I just wanted Alex to experience the Disney Magic :wizard: at the All Stars on his first visit. I can hardly wait. :hourglass
When we pull in and I see those huge icons I know I'm at Disney :earboy2:

Just 61 more days--But who's counting?? ME

We just stayed for 15 nights at the GF in July. The convenience was wonderful since our kids were small. If my kids were older I'd split my stay 1 week monorail resort/ 1 week Epcot resort.

If budget was an issue I'd do one week mod or value and 1 week deluxe.

I think we would stay at the Grand Flordian for 1 week and the Yacht Club for one week.

One week at the Polynesian and one week at an Epcot resort (YC/BC maybe if I had kids, otherwise BWI)

You really need 3 weeks so you could have one week at AKL, too.

Maybe, if I were in your shoes, I'd figure out if I'm doing more time at MK or Epcot.....stay 1 week there (Poly or Epcot resort), then do 4 days at the opposite followed by 3 at AKL????

Too complicated?

Have fun planning! :sunny:

I'd stay in a villa at the Boardwalk. Maybe spend the last couple days being pampered by the concierge at the AKL in a suite. But definitely a villa if I were going for that long. Room to spread out, relax, plus all the conveniences. You can order room service or make breakfast yoruself. You can do the laundry in your villa during downtime. It's just very comfortable!

A week at the Yacht Club lagoon concierge since every time I plan on staying there something happens. Second week in a garden suite at the Boardwalk.

Definitely a one bedroom villa at Beach Club Villas. I love the convenience of the short walk to Epcot, a leisurely boat trip to MGM....gotta love Stormalong Bay and that wonderfully relaxing lazy river! And, Beaches and Cream is always close by!

The first week at AKL and the second week at BC villas.

We were there for 10 days and I would do it again in a Beach Club Villa. If kids - I would do a 2 bedroom , no kids I would do a 1 bedroom. I rented some points and used some of my own to finance this. for the price of a 2 week vacation I would look into buying into the Vacation club in Disney. then you have many years taken care of. we loved it andour kids did too. :cool1:

Easy choice....1st week at Contemporary in the tower, 2nd week at BWV in a one-bedroom. Died and gone to heaven!!!!

So I love this question. I would split my stay between Poly Concierge, Yacht Club concierge and I would probably do a couple of nights @ AK concierge so I could do the Sunrise Safari. I would start at the AK. Then, YC, then save the best for last...the Poly.

Fun question.

Pam

3 nights at AKL, 5 nights Poly, 6 nights BCV

I would stay at CSR for the first half of the trip because it would not be WDW without staying there for us. I would then stay at YC for the second half of the trip. :hourglass 9 days to go!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
