We've done pretty much every show, attraction and ride at Disney, with the exception of Ellen (just haven't been able to commit the 45 minutes to it), Captain EO (can't convince the family to join me), Stitch (heard about the burp and no one wants to do it now), and MS. Normally, I will go on the biggest and scariest rides and love them (or at least love them when they're over), but MS has always been formidable to me because of the claustrophobia factor and the fear of feeling sick afterwards (from the spinning--not the claustrophobia) and having a miserable day afterwards at Disney.
But I think the claustrophobia factor of MS scares me more than the spinning as I really was surprisingly on the verge of panic on SOAT once they lowered down that hood. I didn't realize that I was so claustrophobic as I have no issues on any other ride or attraction, and have never really been bothered by claustrophobia otherwise in real-world situations.
And as far as the spinning, if we're masters at teacups, and go crazy all out spinning on those, how much worse is MS?
