If you could talk 1 on 1 with the Disney boardroom on what you would want Disney to do or bring back (within reason), what would you say?

Elaborating on my "less planning" post earlier on this thread. I remember telling people "I love WDW/DL because I can walk around and the entertainment just hits me in the face." Of course I'd do a certain amount of planning ahead to make the best of my vacation, but once I walked in I could for the most part stop looking at my watch, not be looking at my phone all the time, etc. I could just wander and be entertained whichever way I went.

This is definitely #1 on my list...
  • Merchandise delivery & pickups @ FG and all Disney resorts! These days I have to plan strategically when to buy things because I don't want to haul them around the parks while going on rides. It's a tad inconvenient.
The other things:
  • Fastpass
  • Please upgrade all the Disney resorts beds/bedding to the same as DCL. They are so comfortable!
ETA - Almost forgot this one...Osborne lights please!! 🎄

Gotta say, Disney in the late 1990s and early 2000s was significantly better.

Bring back:
Fastpass or Fastpass+
Magical Express
Resort-specific mugs (If you really wanna get picky, restaurants had site-specific napkins, too. None of this generic brown stuff)
Tarzan Rocks
Epcot as an edutainment park. Wonders of Life, Food Rocks, Kitchen Cabaret... just some of the memories. Upscale the uniqueness and educational value of the countries in WorldShowcase
Afternoon parades in ALL four parks (or evening, at Epcot)
Osborne Lights
Adventurers Club (Kungaloosh!! Maybe have some exclusively-adult clubs. Disney is not only for families and kids!)

Improve:
Food variety and quality.
Customer service. Seriously, Disney. The costs could be justified due to the outstanding customer service and uniqueness of your parks. Everyone really felt like a welcomed guest. Not anymore. We are all now just beans in the counters bags.
Adventurers Club was my favorite! Loved the Audience participation, yes it was hokey but it was, well, just so sweet and nice.

How tough could it be to have a park venue/stage with rolling audience participation shows and include the oldies in the mix? sigh.... I miss the silly outfits and all from Adventurers Club.

Top notch customer service and ride maintenance. The guest experience has been sorely lacking, along with the upkeep of the parks. They don't even try to hide construction or anything from guests.
I am looking forward to see what it will be like when we venture to DL in a few weeks.

Ok, I realize this is unreasonable but I would love to have the crowd levels back to what they were in November 2004.

It was our first DL trip with our two young daughters staying at the DLH. Magical

Adventurers Club, clean parks, better ride maintenance and Wishes
yeah all make sense.

Also focus on entertainment and what the fans want- you are a business- act like it.

The big one for me would be quality food - that's what stopped me from going.

There was a time when the restaurant (in Epcot) had actual chefs who planned a menu and had daily specials etc..the prices were also reasonable

This will never happen wit the DDP in existence, to me it seems as the price of DDP has gone up the quality has gone down.
