If you could stay young forever like Peter Pan, what age would you choose and why (in terms of what creatively or humorously witty thing/s you'd
most like getting up to and doing in Neverland and/or the real world) ?

9-10 years old, when I was in 5th grade. Had a teacher I really liked, 2 best friends in school, good friends at home, a dog I loved, everything was right with the world.

Probably doesn't answer your question about the creative/witty things I'd do.

How about you?

Oh, and welcome back to the Dis!!:goodvibes

22 again... just last year...

25--I will be 47 this year. I can't believe how time flies!

25 was a good year.

22 was my favorite year, but I think four was fun too, before school started and I had ZERO responsibilities!!

I'll be 24 in two weeks :cool1:

I was thinking 19. Out of school, no MAJOR responsibilities-still living home with only my car payment & phone bill. Yeah, I'd say 19!!!! But then I wouldn't be where I am now...married, 2 children, few pets, car payment, mortgage, credit cards.....LOL!!!

Right now...47. Stable, secure, settled. Not falling apart yet. :)

tough choice for me between 16 and 21. Sixteen, no worries except getting off of work in time to hit a party, get to the dunes, does my outfiit look cool?, playing tennis , swimming, going to WDW @ Daytona Beach w/the marching band in HS...what's cooler than traveling with a bunch of teens and no parents?......21 for the obvious advantages, but still no scary words like Mtg, as the youngest 1/2 my siblngs had moved away so that was sort of a bummer, there was also college, so stress level a little higher on grades accomplishments etc. I think I would go with 16..all that was needed was a great group of friends, a little gas $, some snack $ , a doofus job and the bliss of teenage ignorance. Yeah, life was gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood then!:thumbsup2

Probably 23 because I was a size 9 back then!! But of course I would not have my DH or Dd so.....I guess it is not meant to be Peter Pan!!

30, my current age.

I just want to freeze time right now- my kids are just the perfect age and I am still young enough to play too!

Tough question... Being a kid was great because there were no real responsibilities or repurcussions....

I loved 27, had a good year then...

I don't know I'd want to... every year brings new joys that I couldn't trade

I'd pick 30. Out of college and working, had roommates and made good money. Nothing to tie me down, partied a lot, had a great circle of all single friends and we traveled too. Young enough to do anything I wanted but not so young as to be totally irresponsible. :woohoo: Now I'm old, married, and ready for bed by 9:00! Totally love DH & DS's and am truly happy, but ... single was fun too! :rolleyes1

hmmmmm, that's a tough one. I think I'm not there, yet. I've had good years, but I think the age that I'll like the best is yet to come. I've had big responsibilities at a young age, married at 19, mortgage at 20, first child at 21, so I never really had the carefree youth. I think a mellow middle age will suit me better than youth I've had.

I'd pick 19. Old enough to have some freedom but young enough to not have too much expected.

The reason I'd pick a certain age has most to do with the people...so would they stay the same age too? If so, I'll go with 31...dh (almost my dfianceat the time) and I had just moved in together with my children. Also, they were 7 and 8-fun ages! Reall little adults without all of the hang ups that come with age. Oh, and the one vain part? I was almost 20 lbs. thinner!

29. That's how old I was when I met DH, and I'd just graduated from nursing school the year before.

I still feel 29, although I look 52....it's a bit of a shock to look in the mirror sometimes! ;)

Age 10. It was the highlight of my soccer years and I had a bunch of awesome friends. Life was just dandy.
