If you could spare some pixie dust...UPDATE she's doing good!

My aunt is going in for surgery today.

She has breast cancer. She had a surgery about 10 years ago, and was fine for almost 10 years but it did come back and she's having a double masectomy (sp?) today.

I'm just kind of nervous. I know it's "wrong" to pick favorites, but this aunt is my absolute favorite relative and one of my idols. She is just the most amazing woman.

She has a very positive attitude and is confident that she will be just fine, but if anyone could send good wishes, a little extra pixie dust could never hurt.

Thanks all,

Sheri

UPDATE - PAGE 3 :)

Sheri, prayers have been said and the extra large load of pixie dust is on its way. I hope the surgery goes well and your aunt has a quick recovery.

Sheri, she's in my prayers & you too. My best wishes to her.

Good wishes, Sheri, along with prayers, for your aunt. Hope all goes well and she has a comfortable recovery and a long lifetime of remission. Please let us know how all goes. My best.

Saying a prayer for your aunt. I hope she comes out of it all better!

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers today. It is great to hear that she has a positive attitude. That is so important to her recovery!

If this aunt is a favorite of yours, there's no doubt she's a wonderful person! Of course I'll send PD....gladly! Will be waiting to hear good news on her recovery! ::yes::

Oh, and this is for you....

:flower3: I'll keep her in my prayers. She's a lucky aunt...

(If she's in Boston PM me the hospital - I work at one and maybe can pop in to say hello and see if she needs anything...)

Thanks. She's actually in Vermont. I'm hoping to take a drive up this weekend or sometime soon (when she feels up to it) to visit.

Sending prayers and PD. I hope all goes well today.

's

Sheri,
My aunt had breast cancer too. She only needed chemo after the lumpectomy. She's doing really well now, it's been a few years.

Sending positive thoughts for a very speedy recovery!:sunny:
