If you could pick the next Disney movie for a ride to be based on...

I agree with the Monsters Inc fans. The first time we saw the movie I thought that it would make a great ride. The ride could be one of those coasters where your feet hang. You could be sitting in "doors" and your mission would be to rescue Boo from Randall.

To bad we weren't imagineers!!

Yep I second that one! Would actually be a better Disney theme/magic than blizzard beach.

How about transforming the now useless "River Country" into Kuzcotopia? or A Nemo theme.... do SOMETHING with it!

I would also love a Monsters, Inc. Ride!

I would love to just see Pirates of the Caribbean overhauled to be a much more exciting water ride with the action, charm, and humor of the new movie version.

Heck, I'd be happy if they just made the current Pirates wheelchair accessible. Our family has not been on since the kids were born, since DS (soon turning 7) is completely wheelchair-bound. Yeah, it would take an additional sluice and some tying down, and more than anything, widening of the queueing area (too narrow for any sort of chair); Maybe a direct elevator would do it. But I just know DS would love it!

The very first time I saw Finding Nemo, I remember thinking when Marlan and Dori take their exit from the East Australian Current, what a great roller coaster ride that could be.:D

I think that sounds great! The only thing is that I'm not sure I'd make it a totally thrill-type roller coaster. Maybe a little tamer, so that the short ones who've seen the movie are able to ride it.

It's not impossible if you can take the person out of their wheelchair and the wheelchair is foldable, or the person can be transferred to a foldable wheelchair or the the non-foldable wheelchair is light enough and small enough to be put on the boat.
We did take DD on Pirates in March. It's not easy to lift her on since she is 5 feet tall and 85 pounds, but we were able to do. It would be nice if it was more accessible though since it's not easy to do.
The boarding and exit are actually in 2 different building though, so there would not be an easy way to get wheelchairs from the boarding area to the exit. Because of the way the ride is laid out, it's not possible to board and exit at the same place.

They should do the Monsters ride in the rework they are doing on Spaceship Earth. That huge open geosphere would make a great space to do the door scene. And you could do wonders with the sound too. (Has anyone heard the exact plan for SSE? Maybe this is what they are already thinking :hyper: ).

They're redoing SSE?! When my DD 14 was little that was one of her favorite rides! More to the point, I would love to see a Monsters, Inc. ride!
