If you could only pick 10 TV channels to watch, what would they be?

ok, here's my top 10:

NBC
CBS
ABC
Fox
Fox News
Weather Channel
Disney Channel
Nickelodeon
Sprout
Cartoon Network
Speed Channel
BBC America
TLC
HGTV
E

Okay, so that's 15 not 10. But I could live without Nickelodeon, Sprout, Speed Channel and E, but those 15 would keep my whole family happy.

5. USA
6. Food Network
7. Spike
8. HGTV

Comedy
ESPN

ABC.
ESPN.
ABC Family.
TLC.
TNT, or maybe it's TBS. I can't remember since their right next to each other on my cable company. Whoever plays movies all day Saturday, that's the one.
CBS.
HBO.
Disney channel.
Travel channel.
FSC (fox soccer channel).

10 different channels? Heck, I'd have a hard time thinking of 10 different TV shows for the whole family.

I'd say:

1) Disney - So the kids could watch Phineas and Ferb
2) Ellen - Whatever network Ellen is on because my wife likes her show
3) PBS - Newshour
4) Science - I like How It's Made
5) Food - My wife likes the food shows

That's all I can think of. I guess I'd throw in the other major networks and ESPN for guests and occasional college football games.

We don't do the Weather Channel - we have weather.com and accuweather.com for that. We don't do the financial or news channels - we have WSJ.com and other websites for that.

My wife might add in E! or IFC. We lost both of those when we reduced our satellite package last year. She enjoyed them, but they weren't worth the extra cost to her.

CBS - Survivor, Amazing Race
ABC - Lost
NBC - 30 Rock, The Office
Fox - 24, Family Guy
Bravo - Top Chef
The Disney Channel
The Military Channel
Food Network
Showtime - Dexter
HBO - They always have quality original programs, and The Pacific looks amazing.

My top ten (but only mine, the kids would have their own list, as would the DH):

1. The Weather Channel
2. Food Network
3. The Travel Channel
4. HGTV
5. Discovery
6. Boomerang (I am a classic-cartoon junkie)
7. ABC (for Dancing with the Stars)
8. CBS (for Survivor and Amazing Race)
9. TVLand (I am also an old-sitcom junkie)
10. The History Channel

In no particular order:

ESPN
CBS
NBC
ABC
USA
TNT
SNY
HBO
Food Network
our local weather/traffic channel, channel 61. It's part of our cable system. It's much more accurate, and I only have to wait 2 minutes to get the weather.

We don't have or want cable and watch little TV.

I'd be good with just PBS and CBS (CSI and the Mentalist are about all the network TV we watch).
