If you could only order one thing at each MDR on the Disney Dream what would it be?

That's the secret? I should have thought of that. Asked for medium rare every time I ordered meat - got overcooked and dry mostly.

Scallops were excellent on my last cruise. First time I ordered them and they were on of the best dishes of the cruise.

Yeah even at Topolino's, Disney consistently overcooks my beef dishes by at least one step.

How do you know which nights of your cruise you can order food from other restaurant menus?

So each menu at the MDR is on a three night rotation - so everyone can enjoy that restaurants menu!

On other nights sometimes everyone gets the same menu - like pirates.

As @Calantha said you can always go and look at the menu outside of the restaurants or use the app on your phone to look at the menu for other restaurants on that day! It’s super easy to do and the servers are happy to serve you what you want.

There is no need to feel embarrassed to say “For my entree, I would like a couple of few orders of the pursettes.”

I have never seen a cruise waiter roll their eyes or mutter about food requests.

This is such an easy adjustment - no big changes to plating or ingredients.

Agree. My oldest now 20 still orders pursettes for dinner at EG since he is not a fan of the vegetarian dishes they offer that night the first time through. He usually gets an AP dinner plate with what looks like a triple order of the appetizer.

I'm seeing a lot of shout outs for the sea bass. I will have to investigate. My request to myself for May is to try to order some other things besides seafood pastas at dinner.

Animators Palate - black truffle pasta pursettes

I’m curious - it seems like the truffle pursettes are a favorite across the board (I’ve heard this elsewhere as well). Is the truffle flavor strong or mild?

I hate mushrooms and truffles but I looove these. Very mild. You might not even know it was truffle if you didn't know what they were called. They are yummy.
