If you could only order one thing at each MDR on the Disney Dream what would it be?

Animators Palate - black truffle pasta pursettes

Royal Court - breaded and deep fried brie

Enchanted Garden - warm sticky date pudding (and we order black truffle pasta pursettes again when we eat here)

Caveat : we are vegetarians

Royal Palace - escargot
Animator’s - truffle pasta purseittes
Enchanted Garden - sticky date pudding (or go to Palo or Remy)
Pirate Menu - braised barbecue beef rib salad

I'm not a vegetarian, but you still hit all my favorites! Sticky date pudding rocks!

For pirates we order the noodle tofu dish or we order Indian vegetarian food for dinner

Royal Palace - Chateaubriand Beef Tenderloin
Enchanted Garden - Sea Bass
Animator’s Palace - Ginger-Teriyaki Beef Tenderloin

This was tough.

It was much easier to come up with a 3-course meal (than singling out one thing) for RP and EG. AP is my least favorite for food. And I have replaced Pirate’s menu with Palo for years.

Three-course meal:

Royal Palace - Chateaubriand Beef Tenderloin, farmhouse salad, Grand Mariner souffle
Enchanted Garden - Sea Bass, strawberry salad, sticky toffee pudding
Animator’s Palace - Ginger-Teriyaki Beef Tenderloin, truffle pursettes, Mickey Bar
Haha yeah...I've watched so many Vlogs that I figured if I made it the meal it'd be easy so had to make it tough :)

Well, since we just finished a 5-night cruise on the Dream, I would have to include the following:

Royal Palace - oven baked salmon royale
Animators - black truffle pursettes
Enchanted Garden - lobster ravioli

Narrowing it down to 1 is especially hard. DANG! I'm not sure if leaning towards seafood is because we do a lot of beef and chicken at home or what the reasoning is for it on the ship, but those are my 3. Desserts are always good and much easier to come up with for dishes than main courses or appetizers.

Now I'm hungry and want some DCL food! :rotfl2:

So having never been on any other ship outside of the Wish I'm excited for the Black Truffle pursiettes for sure and then there are things I'm torn about...How many desserts do I get when it's Creme Brûlée and Grand Marnier plus others. I also want to try Escargot because it's something I would never order and I would feel bad if I eat one and it's disgusting :)

That's the AWESOME thing about DCL, if you want more than one, ask. There were a couple times my wife and I would each get 1 dessert and then a 3rd one to share. In the MRD's its all included. Which means, if you are adventerous enough to try escargot and you don't like it, order something else to replace it.

Animators: Black truffle pasta pursettles
Enchanted Garden: This is by far the least good rotational menu IMO, but I’ll go with the pecan tart.
Royal Palace: Roasted lamb rack

Hey, I made a full meal!

How do you know if there is an Indian food or any other food to substitute on pirate night? Just wondering.

I would like ANYTHING except pirate menu. I know Palo is an option but I do love me some Indian/Philipino/anything to try once!!!

I’m curious - it seems like the truffle pursettes are a favorite across the board (I’ve heard this elsewhere as well). Is the truffle flavor strong or mild? I find a strong truffle flavor to be gross, but I’m wondering if its mild and I should give it a try (I still think about the mushroom soup at Artist’s Point at Wilderness Lodge - I hate mushrooms, but I tried it because I’ve heard so many positive reviews about it, and it was my favorite thing of the entire meal).

I hate mushrooms too. I don’t think that the truffle flavor is very strong at all. As I’ve said another threads, I always order two on the night this is on the menu.

I’ll have to come back later with my top three items though. I need to think about it.

Animators -Pasta Pursettes
Enchanted- Prime Rib
Royal - I'll give up my choice here for the Beef Tenderloin from AP. There's no way I can only have 1 thing there. But if that's cheating I guess the French Onion Soup.

Interesting on Royal...What would you choose if you had unlimited choices?

Royal: Deep Fried Brie
Garden: Sea Scallops
AP: Purseittes
1923: Churros
Arendelle: Apple Cake
Marvel: Mystic Pasta
Tiana's: Beignets

Unlimited at Royal Palace?

French Onion Soup, Chateaubriand, Grand Marnier Souffle.

In general I get the beef entree at most dinners. I don't eat fish. ;) On the Wish I was able to get a couple of pasta dishes, without the seafood that came with them.

If I asked for extra cheese on the French onion is that possible? I love French onion but I also love cheese :)
