what would it be? We want to try some new places. Please pick a counter AND table- we have the dining plan again.

You can choose one per park only. One other that is not in a park too, any resort too.

It is me and DD, and we are not into fancy meals, just casual realxed. What is your fav?

We are on trip #5 and need to try some new places... tell me your choices. We tend to keep going back to the same ones, and we need to venture out!

Keep in mind... we WALKED OUT OF BROWN DERBY!!! simply because the menu was too "fancy", we got seated, looked at the menu and we where like :confused3 LOL couldn't see anything "normal" LOL. We do not do upscale here :) We loved Donald breakfastosaurus, Sci Fi and Liberty Tree type places.

We're not much into fancy stuff either.

MK- Plaza Restaurant
EPCOT- Le Cellier
HS- 50's Prime Time
AK- Tusker House
DTD- Planet Hollywood, or Earl of Sandwich (if you just want a CS meal)

For all the down-to-Earth non-fancies: ;) :)

MK -
TS: Plaza
CS: Pecos Bill or Casey's

Epcot -
TS: Garden Grill or Rose and Crown
CS: Liberty Inn or Electric Umbrella

MGM (I fear and resist change  ) -
TS: Hollywood and Vine dinner or Mama Melrose
CS: Toy Story Pizza Planet or take the walk to Beaches and Cream

AK -
TS: There may not be anything here to suit you, especially with Rainforest out because of the DDP.
CS: Pizzafari or Flame Tree

Resorts -
TS: Yacht Club Galley or Grand Floridian Cafe
CS: Pop Food Court or POFQ Floatworks

DTD -
TS: Does the DDP still come with a coupon for Planet Hollywood?
CS: Earl of Sandwich

Hope that helps! It'd probably be fun to head over to allears and look over the menus together. That way you can get all excited about the trip and not worry that you won't find anything normal to eat. :wizard:

AK
TS - Rainforest Cafe (no DDP)
CS - Flame Tree BBQ

DHS
TS - I like Mama Melrose, but your crew may prefer 50's Prime Time
CS - Backlot Express

Don't have much input for DTD and Resorts - we are making a point to eat at more restaurants outside the parks this upcoming trip! Have fun! :cool1:

Tell me how to... walk to Beaches and Cream? I never did that before :confused3

these would be new to try

Kona has some of the best food on property for dinner or breakfast if you ask me! Look at this pork chop...heaven on a plate!

My other recommendations are:

MK- The Plaza & Pinocchio Village House (figaro fries)
Epcot- LeCellier & Tangerine Cafe
AK- Yak & Yeti (best meal of our last trip!)
MGM- nothing note worthy in this park IMO.
DTD- Ragland Road & Earl of Sandwich

If you are on the dining plan, note that Beaches and Cream is a table service, not counter service. It is in the Beach Club resort. You need to exit Epcot via the International Gateway (between England and France) and then hang a right. Not exactly sure where it is located in Beach Club because have not eaten there yet (hope to in May), but I believe it is near the pool.
