If you could have any CM job at Disney what would it be???

DH would go for Boat Captain, I would like to be a Special Events Planner or Tour Guide...

I'd love to be in charge of IT Development. Oversee the websites - especially MDE, and all the other technological "advances". But I'd settle for a job in IT/MIS. :surfweb:

If we ever end up moving back to Seattle because my business has to close (which hopefully never happens), I will apply to work at Disney. I develop software for a living on iOS, and I would LOVE to improve the MDE app. Almost all Disney mobile and web development is done in Seattle.

Since I am a licensed therapist, when I see the families having meltdowns and terroizing and screaming at their kids, I would say I would like to set a counseling booth like Lucy in the peanuts in the middle of Fantasyland LOL. My dream job would probably Cinderella or dancer in one of the parades.

Great idea! I am a chiropractor, I could set up a booth next door for those tired backs and necks. Maybe outside Thunder Mountain RR for the mild whiplash that my family gets (and will continue to get as often as possible):yay:

Freelance Internal Auditor and Devil's Advocate. I would report directly to the CEO. I would either get specific items to look into, or wander around on my own. I would talk to both Guests and Cast Members and come up with recommendations that would make the experience better for everyone.

Unfortunately this would be a full-time job and, due to my age, I will stick with my current position in ticketing and Guest Services where I work no more than two days a week.

I've always said I wanted to be the Tiki boy and wake up the birdies. Their jokes are almost as lame as mine!

The Monorail is my favorite ride at Disney, so I'd love to drive the monorail and would love to do so when I retire. I also wouldn't mind operating the boats from Port Orelans to DTD.

I'm in IT, so I'd love to work in day to day operations, fixing things that went wrong throughout MK or Epcot.

If I had to be an attraction CM, I'd want to work Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, ToT, Splash Mountain or Space Mountain.

I wouldn't mind any job that was inside with air conditioning. The hot and humid summers I couldn't take so it would have to be an indoor job.

I'd like to run the entire Disney educational tours program. So many things that could inspire and educate kids can be found all around the parks.:teacher:

My first job as a teenager was a dream come true - as a Parade Performer at DL. Couldn't believe I actually got paid to do it! :)

To go to the audition I lied to my parents and said I was bringing a friend to the airport - I knew if I told them they would try to discourage me and say I wouldn't get it anyways. I came back from the audition with a part, told them what I did and that I now have a job. Wish I could have kept that job the rest of my life, unfortunately min wage doesn't cut it.

My husband wants to "retire" from his current job and be a disney bus driver later in life. I'd be happy with anything in retail, merchandising, concierge, guest services, ride CM, etc. we're both pretty heavily tattooed so we'd be forced to wear long sleeves at all times, but we'd be more than happy to do that.

DH and I have this discussion every vacation.

Due to my WDW knowledge, I'd want to work in Guest Services. Preferably out around the parks helping people daily. DH wants to drive the boat along the Sasatooga River. (Spelling)

My DW and I do too. ;)

Loving the responses! :)

I wouldn't mind working in WDW's IT department and trying to figure out what is even going on in there...

as you were able to log on to the internet, create an account here, and post a coherent statement you are over qualified. Application denied. ;)

~This is tough, my first thought was CEO. But a very close second pick is a Disney florist. I just love flowers and I love to make my own floral arrangements at home when I have time. Disney's flowers are so beautiful to me! :lovestruc
