If you could have a 30th Birthday dinner at any Disney restuarant....

What would it be? I have a trip planned for May with a group of friends, one of them will have just graduated from Nursing school and will be celebrating their 30th birthday also. So this trip is going to be a huge celebration! I like to think I'm pretty familliar with most of the restaurants on property... but I wanted to hear from others about their favorite places to celebrate a special occasion.

That looks cool.... I always forget about the places in the Swan & Dolphin. I was thinking maybe Jiko also. We are definitely doing O'hana! That is a given...

Flying Fish was great on the Boardwalk! I enjoy fish, but my DH does not. He loved the pork chops there, so even if you aren't a fish person, you will find something there!

I am going on a "Mom's only" weekend in March with some girlfriends. We decided to make one ADR. We all picked O'hana. We see ourselves lingering over our Lapu Lapu's! I vote for Flying Fish or O'hana!

My answer is not going to be based on the best food, but the best environment. When I was in WDW for my birthday, I wanted nothing more than to eat my birthday dinner at CRT. There just isn't anything better than having your birthday in the castle. The food was very good as well, so it's not like I'm saying eat bad food for the experience. It's just not going to be Epcot World Showcase good, which would be what I would suggest based on food quality - LeCellier, Rose and Crown or Chefs de France.

I chose to celebrate my 28th at Jiko - fantastic place for a birthday!

My bday is on Monday... and my DH and I will be eating at the Yatchsmans Steak House. That is going to be a first for both my hubby and I. It came recommended from my DISNEY friend Sue. LOL..

If I could celebrate anywhere I'd choose Victoria & Albert's. Hands down this was the best dining experience in my lifetime, not just at Disney.

If I was celebrating with a group and cost was an issue, I'd choose Jiko. I love the atmosphere, the food and everything about it. (Even the bathrooms were super cool - even compared to other signature dining locations we went to)

Since you said anywhere, I would have to say Victoria & Alberts. If you want an experience that will be memorable, this is the place. You and your friends will have memories that you can talk about for years. My wife and I did our 10th anniversary here and it was SPECIAL. We skimped on the hotel so that we could eat here. It was the best dinner experience we have ever had. Good luck making your decision -- there really are a lot of nice restaurants at the World.

victoria and albert's - hands down. it's pricey but more than worth it. it is by far the best dining experience that dh and i have ever had.

I like california grill for a group because they have a varied menu, besides, the location and the views can't be beat.
