If you could give one piece of advice....

Take advantage of characters when you see them. It's not always the case, but sometimes you might see a character, be in a rush to get to a ride, or something, think, "We'll see them later." and move on. You may not, so take pictures and get autographs when you see them. (This happened to us on our last trip.)

If you go with your significant other, hold each others hand and just relax. Im going to cheat too.. Sleep in at least one day your there, its your vacation!

If you've already seen the afternoon parade, skip it, head to your favorite attraction that usually has long lines and ride it over and over again until the parade is over. On one trip, my family was able to ride Buzz Lightyear SEVEN TIMES during the parade, and another time we got to ride Splash Mountain three times. Before the parade the wait time had been an hour long, but we were able to practically walk right back on. It was great! :thumbsup2

Dont stress a good thing, Go slow, take it all in, dont follow the crowds, most the time they are all going to the same place, definately go to a Character meal, and take advantage of fast pass its well worth it.

Stay to the left.

Or the right, as the case may be. Look for the short queue. At AK and EP, we walked right through empty turnstiles because they were labeled "cast members AND park guests". no other park guests used the turnstiles, instead opting for lines 40-50 deep. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Try not to take a bag. You get searched.

Don't let yourself get rained out. Best time we ever had at MK. No one there. We rode Space Mtn. Got off. Got right back on. Etc., etc. Rode until we had headaches...

Oh. And Mission Space is NOT scary. People really play that one up. Give me a BREAK already!!!!! :rolleyes1

It may not be scary, but you should definitely read all of the health warnings and ride with precaution. On our last trip, my cousin (who rides insane roller coasters that make Rock N Roller Coaster look like a kiddie ride) rode Mission Space, and while it didn't scare her, she got sick and we had to let her lie on a bench for nearly an hour before we could move on. Meanwhile, though, my brothers and uncle rode it over and over again! They loved it! Every person's body is different, so remember to be slightly cautious, but also remember to have fun!

Don't stress out. If something doesn't go according to plans, make a new plan!!

Relax and leave the rat race for back home! You'll return to that soon enough. Some people just bring that rush mentality even on vacation. So what if you don't see it all? R-E-L-A-X!!!

It never ceases to amaze me to see people rushing here and there while on vacation??? :confused3

Spend the first day (if you arrive after noon) exploring the resort and swimming.

Plan your trip! Don't go without atleast finding out the times of each park opening and seeing the parades & fireworks. I was on the monorail once and heard a woman say that she didn't know they had a parade while she was there that day.

Be informed!

If you are staying onsite, take the time to sit in the lobby for 15 minutes or so just to soak it all in or even better, if weather is nice, sit outside your resort on either bench, chair, etc.

This is the reason we love BW so much...love sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the view

Relax, take your time, stop and smell the roses. It is impossible to see everything in one trip, so don't try. Have a basic plan, use Fastpass when necessary.

I second this post!

Alright, I'll agree to that. RRC rocked my world. TOT left me unable to feel the lower half of my body for 20 minutes afterwards. (That's not to say I didn't go back for more.) I guess maybe it's because our friends talked about MS like it was SOOOOOOO awful, so barf-inspiring, and the lowest level of hell. When backed into a corner, they finally admitted that they drank 'round the world, then rode MS. HA!!

I just told my neighbor who I am helping plan with her for May this.

I think she should eat her TS meal (they are one the meal plan) at Lunch. So if the kids are cranky and tired it is not wasted. We usually do this so for dinner we had a light one or just a snack. And if the kids are tired we can get CS at our hotel and bring it back to our room.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone what would it be? or What is your one little secret or must to when you visit the world? It can be regarding anything resorts, parks, tours etc.. anything!!! :thumbsup2

Please stand clear of the doors...Por favor, mantenganse alejados des las puertas. :rotfl2: Sorry...inside joke. My 10 year old can say that phrase perfectly from riding the monorail so much! :wizard:

Seriously though...enjoy yourself! It is always a great experience no matter what you decide to do! :)

Oh! And EAT AT JIKO'S in AKL! Most excellent food!

it's your vacation... no matter what you do just make sure you are having fun. if you are not having fun then it's just WORK :P

:)

I have two (sorry! )

1. Use a town car service and take advange of the free grocery stop that many of them offer! It is SO nice to get into that car and just GO!

2. Even if you no other planning, make a list of things you absolutely MUST see and try to do those first. Then everything else is gravy.

I also have to respond to this.....
But don't buy it the first time you see it.

Unless you REALLY love it, then buy it the first time, because there's a chance you could spend the whole rest of your trip trying to find it again! (BELIEVE me, I KNOW! :rotfl: )
