Relax, take your time, stop and smell the roses. It is impossible to see everything in one trip, so don't try. Have a basic plan, use Fastpass when necessary.

Slow down!

I can't tell you how many times I've seen angry people, crying children and so forth. Whether you walk or run, the ride isn't going anywhere so it'll still be there no matter how quickly you arrive there!

It's not a race to see how many rides you can cram into one day. Some people treat it more like a job than a vacation---if I were to go at that pace, I'd need a vacation after my vacation!

There's so many wonderful things to see & do, if you just take the time to do it.

Fold up one or two two gallon ziplocs and carry them with you. When you want to ride the water rides, stow your stuff in the ziploc and don't worry about it. Oh yeah--it helps to have along a wash cloth or bandana to dry your face after the ride.

Get to Toontown BEFORE it opens.. around 9:45 ish.. the characters come right to the ropes and take children by the hand who are waiting there and walk them into the Judge's Tent. Goofy even takes the first ride of the day on Barnstormer with one lucky kid! If you want to hedge your bets on that one, make sure you are at the rope nearest to the Barnstormer.. which means the path that leads into Toontown directly from the Teacups. If you want to have mickey hold your hand.. stand at the rope right near his house.. which means either take the train there or the secret path from Tomorrowland which is right next to Space Mountain.

Always have your towel! (just like in Hitchhkiker's Guide)
I bought a very absorbant 12 inch by 12 inch towel from the dollar store.... I think it's called the "miracle towel" or something like that.....and we used it so many times...before loading our seats on Splash Mt, drying our faces after wet rides, wiping benches if wet....so many uses.....I actually had 2 neatly packed in baggies..one for seats and one for our use (they can be rinsed out each night if needed and dry VERY quickly. My Dh made fun of me till his poncho hood flew off during Splash MT......he didn't laugh after that!!
