If you could change the fate of a classic summer horror film villain while being transported into that universe, who would you choose to save? So if you chose to save Jason V (Crystal Lake), would you go back in time and be his friend, preventing the fireworks accident? There are no wrong answers for this thread.

Fireworks accident? He drowned as boy, I don't recall any fireworks accident.

I would befriend the Alien, who only wanted a hug.

He "died" drowning. I thought at one point before that, campers locked him in a closet and set off fireworks/firecrackers near him. I'm trying to find the clip but maybe I was mistaken.

I get what you're going for, but Jason was probably tormented even before Crystal Lake, given his physical appearance.

When he supposedly drowns, his mom kills any camp counselors (who had nothing to do with Jason's death) out of revenge. Only unbeknownst to her, he wasn't really dead, because he's been miraculously living in the woods all this time! So when she's killed for killing kids over a big misunderstanding, Jason takes revenge on everyone just because his mom was killed.

Imagine all the awkwardness that could have been avoided if Jason and his mom Pam had only reached out to eachother. So the moral is: Call your mom.
