We recently had to get the stucco repaired so we had to repaint the stucco. Some of the wood trim was rotten so we had to paint the trim too. I thought the house was horribly ugly when we bought it. The layout was perfect and the location was great which is why we bought it anyway. The house was a peachy color that reminded me of '80 makeup foundation that didn't match anyone's skin and the trim was an industrial grey. Now that we repainted it and updated the outdoor lighting I love our house.1. New roof-our roof starting leaking last winter during some major rainstorms-we've had a tarp up since January. Apparently we have a 30 year roof because the house was built around 1992, bought it in 2008. We've had 3 companies come out to give us quotes- all around 41k with gutters. This is a for a basic comp roof, nothing fancy like the concrete shingles I see on new houses.
2. Bathroom remodels-all three need to be renovated.
3. New siding on exterior of house-currently it's stucco and brick, want to remove or put lap siding over stucco, hate that stuff and it's also a pinkish salmon color, hideous.
Here's my list:
-A true 3 car garage. Our garage is supposed to be a 3 car garage but you can only fit one car in it.
-repaint the interior. It's tan and I hate it.
-Remodel the master bath and add a steam shower. We have horrible allergies so that would be wonderful.
