If you could add one country to World Showcase...

India and Thailand would make great additions. Both have great food and interesting history and culture.

But I also think WS would greatly benefit from the addition of countries from South America and Africa. For example, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Ethiopia, or South Africa. Currently, WS is very heavy on North America and Western Europe. There isn't a lot of diversity.

South America could use some representation but I'd prefer Peru or Chile or Argentina. Just personal taste.

Greece, something South American, or something representing the Caribbean. All chosen because they're not too similar to anything else already represented there.

How about Hungary? Rich in culture withthe Danube River, the castles, the gypsy dances, the WINE. The traditional costumes are beautiful, the music and folk dances are interesting and the food like Hungarian Goulash, Chicken Paprika, the many different meat and noodle dishes are delicious and the tortes and pastries are to die for! :)

A couple favourites from me.

1) Greece, it has the history, a unique architecture, amazing food and an animated movie set in the country. The only negatives i can see is that there are already a lot of European countries and Greece is bankrupt.

2) Russia, Perhaps the most beatiful architecture in the world can be found in Russian cities, it is a country that everyone knows but very few westerners have seen or been to. If only Anastasia had been made by Disney, plus theres lots of stupidly rich Russians, one of them must be a Disney fan right? The main negative is that politically, you know some imbecile will complain the Disney is un-american or supporting communists.

3) Egypt, it has a history and a look very much ingrained in popular culture and a Pyramid for Egypt opposite the one for Mexico would be amazing. Negatives are Universal already have a Mummy ride and the country is a political powderkeg.

This was a thread a few weeks ago and I voted Greece. Why? I'm 100% Greek so I'm biased ;) But really having visited Greece twice in the early 2000's, it is so rich in history... And that food is amazing!

I would like to see Ireland or Australia added. I think Ireland would make an awesome addition to WS!
I'd choose Ireland as we have great numbers of Americans with Irish ancestry. Not that there's anything wrong with any of the others but this is one that will have a lot of appeal to a lot of people.

Korea--I buy enough Korean skincare products to cover an elephant. I would never leave that pavillion, my family would always know where to find me.

Or, perhaps India, because I am a glutton for South Indian food.

India is not one I expected. I cant imagine a pavilion that smells like pure curry.

Russia, India, Egypt, Chile, anything ... just make the pavillion educate us about the culture...

I think Greece and Egypt would be good choices as they have distinctive ancient histories that most people recognize and are interested in. They have the most potential for fun attractions and appealing to kids, I think. So much could be done with both of them.

I love Indian food, and the pavilion would be beautiful, so India would be my top choice.

Russia could also be really special, and I would love to see more than one African nation represented, to show the diversity of the continent...so maybe Egypt and Nigeria, for instance.
