If you checkin on Sunday, what park do you go to?

We always find that the Magic Kingdom is pleasantly quiet on a Sunday morning.

Always start and end our vacations at MK!!!!! We don't feel like we're really 'there' until we're on Main St, U.S.A. with the castle before us!!!!

I agree. As long as we feel we are not wasting a day, we usually go to MK just to stroll through the lands and maybe ride a couple rides.

We're checking in very early on a Sunday (spending Sat PM at Hilton DTD, walk around DTD, whatever...) and will hit AK for half a day. Come back to BCV for rest/swim, then hit a late dinner at Cali. Grill.

Our kids are getting older, and the need for "immediate-Magic-Kingdom" has lessened.

We're usually checking in at noon time and the rooms usually aren't ready. We pack a small carry on with our bathing suits and stuff and we head to Stormalong Bay after a quick lunch at Beaches and Cream which ends at 1pm. By the time we're done it's around 5 to 6pm and our room is ready. We head upstairs, bathe and change, go out to dinner usually (by car) at Kona's or Ohana's and catch the Wishes Fireworks. Go to the room and SLEEP!!!

While waiting on line at Epcot to get my bag searched, a security guard was asking trivia type questions to keep us entertained. One of them he asked was which day do most people arrive? Which park do they go to first?
His answer was Sunday. He said everyone starts out at MK, Then Epcot, MGM and finally AKL.
We don't usually arrive on Sunday but we always start with the Magic Kingdom.

It's so interesting to read everyone's opinions. Here's my plan so far (subject to change!) - we actually fly in on Saturday and we're staying offsite. So we'll check in Sunday morning at BWV - and then go to AK for the day. It's a park that we wouldn't spend a full day at - and we like to take our time and see the animals (esp the gorillas ). I may opt to drive to AK so we don't have to wait for the bus (we'll have a rental car). When our room is ready, we'll head back to BWV to unload our stuff. If we're still feeling energetic, we'll go over to MK to catch Wishes at 9 p.m. - and maybe get lucky to ride BTMRR during Spectro. I love riding that coaster in the dark.
