if you can spare any, I sure could use any good thoughts.....small update #63

I had some neurological testing done recently and there were some suspicions of some scary stuff. I also got a preliminary (although incorrect) diagnosis from my PCP of something pretty bad. DH was not the knight in shining armor I hoped he would be. It scared me that if there was ever something really wrong with me, he would be less than supportive. And what about when I started aging?

I talked to DH about it in a round about way. I think he was feeling a little helpless and wasn't sure how to handle not being able to fix things. He also feels like we shouldn't worry about stuff unless we know what it is to worry about. He could also be pretty scared, too.

Your DH will come around. He loves you.

V - glad you called in the reserves. As I suspect you are the one that carries it all for EVERYONE else. Please know that being part of a friend is allowing those around you to help you. I know it's hard and it's not your first thought, but the more you can accept support from others the stronger you can be for yourself which is the top priority right now. Hubby will get there. I think with these men that have married us strong headed women the thought of us not being ok it the end of it all for them. While it would be nice just to have him deal with it all, that is not the way we have set up our lives and families. Talk it over. He will hear you.

update - dr's office called with the MRI results...no lesions present and they will see me at my appt on Friday - it was a message....not quite sure what that means but you can still have MS with no lesions, well according to google.

I would guess that's good news. Doctor's offices don't usually leave bad news messages. :confused3

I think if there was anything wrong, they would have just said to call the office. Saying there was no lesions and they would see you at your appt. is a good sign to me.:)

I hope so and am taking it as that. It does not rule out the Arnold Chiari disease though, as I don't think this can show on an MRI.....my mom had this although no studies have shown it to be genetic.

all I know, there is NOTHING I can do at least until Friday, so, just have to keep that in mind.

thanks again all...........................here's to another day!
