If you buy an AP and get a voucher

that you don't activate until the first day you want to use it, can you still book rooms and get the savings or can you only use the pass for the savings once it is activated? I hope this makes sense.

Yes you can book rooms. You need to activate before you check in. Although someone said that they used the voucher to check and then activated it.We had one person activate the AP and the others checked in. It worked for us.
