If you book CRO w/ AAA, and you see a better AP discount what can you do?

Let's say we have AAA for WL in December for 15 percent off the rate (roughly $180/night) and we booked this ourselves directly with Disney using the AAA rate.

If we find later an AP discount that would be greater than the 15 percent off (or, given the meal credit would be overall better), what do you do? Do you call Disney and ask for your room rate to be changed from AAA to AP? Do you call and cancel your ressie, only to immediately book w/ AP?

This is all hypothetical - just curious!

Thanks,
Chris

You just call them back and ask them if you can apply the AP rate to your current reservation. They should be able to switch it for you with no problem--I've done this before, switching from AAA to an AP. I don't even think they cancelled the original reservation--they just changed the code attached to it.
