If you are thinking about choosing the Anaheim Plaza Hotel and Suites... don't

we are now on day 4 with cold showers. The hotel has done nothing about it. Each morning we complain, next morning still cold.

I am so not happy.

I think they're tearing it down and building a luxury hotel in it's place. Not sure when that's happening, though.

Seems to be an epidemic on Harbor. I had the same issues at the Hojo on our last visit. One day it would be scalding and the next day freezing. Same at Camelot a year and a half ago.

They finally gave us keys to another room. We'll see how that goes, though I'm not looking forward to packing up and moving.

We've had the same problem in the past couple of years with Anaheim Plaza. :sad2:

I really wanted to like this place. The room is nice and big, but I'm really upset with how they have been handling (not) this situation. I asked for the manager this morning and had to wait a while so he could count money. Luckily we built in extra complaint time into our morning schedule before our breakfast with Minnie.

Stuff happens everywhere, but it's the way the management handles it ( or not) that makes all the difference. I'm sorry your stay is less than perfect! Hope the new room works out.

We have friends who get stuck staying there every year (chaperoning international students). They hate it there and always try to get the organization to change hotels, but I think they'll be stuck there again this summer. Maybe I should warn them to bring some electric kettles so that they can warm up some water for bathing.

It's unreal. We shlepped all of our stuff to our new room. I took a shower. The water is still not hot, but at least it wasn't ice cold. I could stand under the water without my teeth chattering. We'll see how it is in the morning.

What I find interesting is that their restaurant is the new location for Pizza Press. Hopefully they don't take Pizza Press downhill. :sad2:

Good to know about the new Pizza Press location. When we asked at Thanksgiving, the employees couldn't give us any information. Here's hoping for hot/warmer water in the morning!

Is it possibly the time and not the room itself? Maybe their isn't enough hot water to meet demand in the morning if everyone is showering before the parks open.

No, it's the room. We had hot water in the sink, just not the shower. We tried different times all with the same result.

The handle to the shower just fell off while my daughter was showering. Maybe we are just meant to be stinky this trip. :lmao::rotfl2:

How are you staying so calm? I would have lost my patience the first day without hot water!

It takes a lot to make me lose it. Something about being at Disneyland calms me.

I did get quite angry last night when a grown woman put both of her hands on my daughter and shoved her so that she could walk through. I was pissed, but being on a scooter I couldn't get to the person to tell her off.

You are a much better person than I.
