Any successful dieters out there? If so, what does your meal plan for the day generally look like?

I have successfully lost 64 pounds on the Atkins diet. My day consists of a low carb bar for breakfast, a low carb chocolate bar for lunch, and protien, a green veggie and salad for dinner. No flour, starch or sugar...

only 11 pound left :)

I love the Smart ones. I have alot of chicken and salads. We went to have Mexican and I got a chicken taco salad without cheese ( very low fat if you don't eat the shell). :D

I don't really like to call it a "diet" because I think it's a lifestyle choice, but a typical day is a protein and either fruit or grain for breakfast, salad, veggies, protein, and fruit for lunch and dinner, and protein snacks between each meal and after dinner. (I usually have protein shakes for snacks.) After doing this for 4 weeks, I can start introducing more grains and starches into my meals again.

Groosch! my daily meal plan involves about 8 "mini" meals!

each of my meals are between 200-350 calories.

I like Fat free cottage cheese, egg beaters, sliced turkey breast....4oz servings of chicken breast, eye of round, ground turkey breast....lite bread ect. ! :):)..........what's important is that you match your calorie intake to your output! :)

64 lbs??? Congratulations Glo! Thats awesome!

I dont diet everyday, I let myself have fun days(usually Wed, Sat, and sometimes Sun). On my diet days, I am strict with myself though. Im sure to drink at least 64 oz of water. Breakfast is Special K(with or without berries), skim milk and OJ. Lunch can be a serving of snackwell wheat crackers, half a pita bread, half a Thomas bagle...(one bread thing) and a piece of fruit, a fudgicle, a fat free yogurt...(one sweet thing). For dinner I have a WW Smart One, and then for dessert either low fat animal crackers or low fat grahm crackers.
Of course I also jog 3 miles 7 days a week and ab crunch about 6. I also walk with DS weather permitting

Last winter I had put on about 12 lbs and I did lose it all by doing this. This is also how I lost weight after both my kids. Im actually less now than before I ever had kids.
Good Luck!

I'm not on a diet. but I've lost weight anyway.

I stop eating before I get full, I eat what I want, I make sure and eat more healthy foods than not.
And I move. A little here or there, for 30 seconds or longer. I walk faster whatever I'm doing, I park farther away from things, and I've lost 4 or 5 sizes within the last year and a half.

I eat breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and dinner. I sometimes have an afternoon snack if I'm feeling hungry.

Meals consist of lots of veggies and fruit (snacks are usually the same). I have small servings of carbs, proteins, and dairy. I try to keep a balance. I do weight watchers so it's easy to keep in balance.

DD makes fun of me though because I have cereal for breakfast everyday...either Kashi or Cheerios with fruit (preferably blueberries).

On Saturday I allow myself to go off program if I want. I've found that lately I don't really do that. I just bank my points and have more than enough to keep me on track.

I've lost over 30 lbs and continue to even when I'm not trying. It's become a real lifestyle change so I can't really call it a diet.
