If You Are Going In August

I'm lucky when I go on my trips. Usually the only tour groups are the ones from various Asian countries and they are rather well behaved. They only have gotten confused at the Fasspass system but thats ok.

I bit OT but I get frusrated with anyone who pretends they don't understand English as an excuse to ignore rules or common courtesies. Had that happen to me recently in Niagara Falls when my DD & I almost were knocked to the ground by several people in a tour group shoving their way onto the Maid of the Mist. I've seen it happen in Disney too.


Back on topic! We were at the World from August 4-13 last year and only noticed one group during our stay, in line for ROR. They were polite and well behaved.

Well its seems the brazillians are becoming better behaved lately. I have heard horror stories in the past but most recent stories have been good, so maybe WDW had a conversation with the tour leaders and they have set some rules? I wouldnt worry about it just go and enjoy your vacation..

Hopefully. I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not so sure. I had never heard of anyone acting like this in my life. Well... the other day my husband and I were talking about Disney and I told him about this thread. He said, "Oh yeah, I know about those groups!" He is a police Detective for Nashville and was eating somewhere recently in Nashville when he said that he heard tons of people screaming and clapping, etc. He and a fellow Detective went to check it out because he truly thought it was a riot, fight, or something. He said they were Brazilian tour groups. They all had on the brightest, loudest colors. None of them acted like they spoke English and when my husband spoke with the leader, he threatened to complain on my husband because my husband told them to stop because they were disturbing others. He said he had never seen anything like it. He almost died when I told him they might be at Disney. He said they were very rude, very loud, and very obnoxious.
