I'm officially registered for the Half!! I signed up yesterday and I'm so excited. I told DFiance that if wedding stuff comes up I can always skip it (our wedding is exactly one week after the half and he had time concerns).

But, there is no way I'm going to skip this race. I want that Donald medal, (and I'm too cheap to waste $95 )

Judy- you saw people getting married during the race?! That...is...awesome!! And so convenient - you have guests, music, and post-race/wedding snacks all set up for you without the months of planning!

I sent in my application today!! Me (Becky) and my DH (Mike) are officially doing the half marathon in 2008! We plan to combo walk/run/jog it. And we are staying at BCV.

Judy, as of now I will need to be removed from the list of those running the full - we, DW, DD, DS, and I , will be at the Tower of Terror races and I cannot convince DW to do 3 trips to the World in 9 months. The selfish side of me (very small of course) really wants to run the marathon again but the family comes first and there are just too many events (food and wine, MNSSHP, ToT races with PARTY ) for DW and children to pass up.

Way to go, Jackie! I still haven't signed up yet (waiting for my half marathon in PA next weekend), but hope to get to meet you eventually. When will you be back at the Heritage soccer field?

Jeanne - It doesn't look like we have any more games scheduled out there this season. All the rest are at the soccer center on Perry Creek. Just finished a run at Shelley Lake this morning. Once you're back from your half, we may have to schedule a walk together!

We have booked POFQ for the weekend. Not my first choice--but evidently I am not made of money nor does it grow on trees.

Running the half with my sister..running the full with my hubby.

Lisa: don't fret....POFQ is very nice. We own DVC, but whenever we can't use points, we stay there. It's very small and convenient to everything. Their food court also has the best beignets! You will be pleasantly surprised.
