If you are being dropped off is there a place for the driver to wait?

I always park at my family member's house and they drive us to the port. Since you won't know for a least 30 mins whether you are allowed to board the ship I plan to have my family member wait for the green light before they leave. Is there a place for them to sit and wait to make sure we are able to board the ship?

Not that I know of. I would suggest they leave the actual port area and go wait in one of the hotel parking lots or even the McDonald's lot....which are just about 2/3 miles away. If you test positive (hopefully not!) they won't be that far away to come back and get you.
