It was the summer of 1988 - we went to the movies to see The Great Outdoors and then a miniature golf place - we were 16 years old

Heck I want a date like that with DH now and we have been together 10 years. The Great Outdoors is a fantastic movie.

We called our first date an undate. It was on Valentines Day and was in protest of the day. I made him my lasagna and we’ve been together ever since.

First ‘date’ on Valentines Day, engaged on Halloween and married on Boxing Day the following year.

To see Bonnie Raitt & John Fogerty in concert. This was 1986, I guess they are both still touring? Not sure.

Bonnie Raitt certainly is, we saw her last summer and she's as amazing as ever!

We went for a "walk and talk" around a local pond and stopped for an ice cream about halfway through. That was 25 years ago last month. Next year we celebrate the 25 year wedding anniversary. Wow, feels like yesterday!

Swing dancing. We used to go a lot when we first dated but haven’t in decades now so definitely out of practice as that was 24 years ago.

On Boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ, on June 10, 1966. We ate Boardwalk food like Pork Roll, Pizza, and water ice. We have been married for 55 years on June 1. We go back to Seaside often, especially on June 10, and invite friends to have pizza with us.

Our first date was 2 days before Valentines Day. He lived in NH, just over the border and I lived close to Boston, so we met in Boston for lunch at Cheesecake Factory and saw the movie Hitch. We were having fun, so we had dinner as well.

I flew into MCO to meet him at WDW. Our first time out was for Drink’s and dinner at ‘Ohana. Got buzzed on one strong Mai Thai.

It was late January 1990, we went to a really nice restaurant in the Poconos and spent 4 hours at our table, until we were the last ones in the restaurant.

If we went there again, we'd be in an empty lot. The restaurant was razed many years ago.

We went to Chili's for dinner, and then to the movies to see the live-action Cinderella (this was in March 2015). We got married in June 2016.

Saw a movie (Legal Eagles) and got ice cream. He was 16 and I was 17. I had to drive as he didn’t have his license yet. We got married on the 10th anniversary of our first date. Got married at Disney. Thursday will be our 27th anniversary and 37 years since our first date.
