If you’re getting a refund on your AP...

I’m sorry if there is a specific thread covering this. I am an out of state annual pass holder. My husband’s AP expires in December. He was planning on renewing his pass when we went on out honeymoon in June, which obviously didn’t happen. Currently we have a reservation under his name at Pop since we are registered to run the half marathon in November. However, he doesn’t have a park ticket and we assume the race will probably be canceled.

At this point, we think it would be better for me to get the refund on the remainder of my AP (it’s good until the end of March) because none of the kids or my husband have a ticket and we don’t know if they’d be able to go any time soon.

Has anyone actually gotten a refund on their AP yet? I’ve seen so many different reports. I’ve seen some say they were refunded, I’ve seen some say that they were told they had to wait until the parks opened, I’ve seen some say they were told their refund is coming but haven’t gotten it. I just wish that something could be consistent with Disney right now!

Also, I did call the AP line and was on hold for 49 minutes before getting through to someone who told me I called the correct number but was routed to the resort reservation line and she couldn’t help me. She said to call back and say the word “fastpass” and it should get me through to the actual AP line, but I still haven’t been successful.

I’m just wondering if there is any consistency with this.....

The AP line will be extra swamped today because it sounds like today Disney just back-charged all monthly payment AP the 4 closed months in a lump sum.

We paid in full for our FL AP's this past March.

I called last week and the AP phone CM informed me there would be 4 options (including a "full refund"). I informed the CM that I called a couple of months earlier and requested the "partial refund" as that was one of only 2 options at that time. The phone CM absolutely informed me that there would be an e-mail sent to me in early July outlining these 4 options and the path forward for a/the selection. The CM told me that I do not need to make a selection at this time (maybe based on my scenario).

I am waiting with bated breath and will be calling next Monday if I don't get the e-mail by then.

Oh, well that’s different than anything else I’ve heard. I wish there was an option to just freeze the pass until you’re able to return. I haven’t gotten any emails yet. Or the AP magnet they said they were mailing, lol
