If "Yes" to these rides, "No" to these, how about EE?

May I ask a question about EE that might help my wife decide whether or not she will ride?

She rides BTMR, Test Track, ToT, but will not ride Space Mountain, Rock 'n Roll Coaster or Mission Space. If these define her comfort zone, do you think she will enjoy EE?

TIA for you input!

I will ride BTMR, Test Track and ToT....won't do Mission Space (motion sick), don't like Space Mountain, RnRC is only okay for me.
I LOVED EE!! Best ride!! Great coaster, smooth :) and wonderful themeing.
Tell her to try it out. ::yes::

Well everyone is different but I think she could be fine. I would describe EE as more of a BTMR just pumped up. The ride does go backward though... no upside though. We loved it and we didnt think it was too extreme.

I will ride BTMR, Splash, RnRc, & Space Mountain, but WILL NOT ride ToT and Mission Space. That being said, I rode EE and the only thing that bothered me was the part where you go backwards. You are going fast downhill and spinning at the same time. I found if I closed my eyes, I was able to ride without problems. It is definitely worth doing once.

I enjoy all of the attractions you mentioned except Mission: Space.

Seemingly unlike everyone else, I found that while I overall enjoyed EE, the backwards-in-the-dark portion did make me a bit queasy. I was fine after one ride, but then we immediately went on it again, and it took me a couple of hours to get back to the point where I wasn't a little wobbly... :o

i would think from your description that the dark plays a part in not liking a ride. the only thing i could think that she wouldn't like about ee is that there is a portion where you are in the dark and can't see where you are going? however, i think she'll love it. because it's so much more than a coaster

Still would like to hear from some more who've already had the chance to ride EE.

auwoo, great insight about the "dark rides." I don't think either of us had thought of it that way.

MS, on the other hand, is off-limits due to DW's heart condition. The other rides have never caused her any problems.

DW is leaning toward giving it a try. We've looked at as many videos as we could find so far. Looks tame enough. We've heard more than one mention that it is a "smooth" coaster.

Thanks for the feedback!

Been there, done it. Have the lanyard and pin.

EE it very much like BTMRR, a little faster and the backward part can be slightly disorientating but an awesome ride. With the list you gave, there should be no problem riding.

We rode EE last week. If your DW has a heart condition, I would be leary of her riding EE. From the rides that she doesn't ride, I would be cautious about EE. You might ride EE alone and then decide about her trying it.
