If we stay at BLT we'll actually SAVE money & other little white lies*UPDATE!! 4/27

We were headed out of Mexico around 5:30 so we decided to get the Seas and Turtle Talk out of the way for the trip. Plus Hunter was wearing his Crush shirt that I made for him. Last time at Turtle Talk Hunter asked, "So. What's it like being a turtle?" I was curious to see what he'd come up with this time.

Now I know that alot of people don't love the Nemo and friends Clam mobile ride, but apparantly my kids were facinated!

We weren't too interested in the aquarium stuff. We were kind of all fished out from our days at Sea World so we headed straight to Turtle Talk. While waiting I put Megan's pins on her new lanyard. Soon we were headed in with about 20 other people. I guess not too many people wait til the end of the day for this. Hunter was really hoping that Crush would notice his shirt. He didn't of course, but Hunter did get to ask, "What do turtles eat?" Megan was bummed that she didn't get to ask a question too. It was cute, but once is really enough for me. After the initial first time of amazement it's not as good.

After the show I decided to toss the kids to the sharks! Then I took the shark quiz which I did very well on thank you very much!

After The Seas we were getting pretty tired so we decided to go to Spaceship Earth then head back to the room. Megan loved this ride last time we were at Disney (she turned 2 there) and she loved it this time too. We had fun with the ending and seeing ourselves on the screen and then on the big globe as we exited. The kids played for a little while and enjoyed this shuffleboard/grow communities type game.

We were heading out around 7:30, but snapped a few more pics as we left. I guess this is why they call it a "Bird of Paradise"!

As we hopped off of the monorail and headed to the walkway to BLT Wishes was starting. Yay! I get to see them again! The kids were very UNinterested so we headed to our room. So what's a worn out family who has an early morning planned do? Go to bed? Nope. We let the kids go out into the 50 degree night to swim!

They had a blast in the heated pool and there was only one other family there. Another great day soon came to a close. I was kind of glad. I was REALLY looking forward to the next day.

Woo Hoo for an update! I love all the Epcot pictures, such a pretty park for pictures. Heck, they all are I guess.

I was cracking up at the kids in the clammobile too . I'm one of those that doesn't get that ride, but your kids apparently do!

I know! That picture is so funny. Like they are watching the best show ever! After I had the kids do their happy shot and scared shot a lady turned to her friend and said, "Oh, that's a really good idea!"

That's funny you are saying that about Turtle Talk because it was so much the same as the first time we saw it killed the neatness for me. I'm glad you said that. I'll give it a third chance.

We have so many pictures of the Epcot ball. It's kind of silly to keep taking them! I think the clam mobiles are a neat way to get to The Seas other than walking and it's cute. The pool was very pretty, but you can only go down the slide during the day while a lifeguard is on duty so Hunter was bummed. I guess we'll have to stay there again. Yes, the next day is one of my favorites for that reason!

Please post another!!! We are staying at BLT in Sept--a 2 BR but we are paying for the MK view--yikes!! I just figure this may be our only time at BLT and we really want the view--we did get the FD pin--so that helps with the total cost. I hope it is worth it! Thanks for your reviews!!

Oh, don't get me wrong. If you know you want a MK view and you might not ever get back I'd definitely pay for the MK view. We were at our price limit and couldn't afford to upgrade. I took my chances and would have been fine with any view as long as we were high up. We were VERY lucky. Don't second guess yourself. The view is amazing and staying there is worth every penny. You will have a blast!!! I'm not sure where the 2BRs are located, but I'd definitely still recommend higher than the 5th floor to improve the view. Plus I would want to avoid the 5th(? I think) where the walkway is because that's where everyone gets off of the elevator so I would guess it to be a little busier and possibly louder. It's a very quiet resort and we hardly saw people in the halls. AH, I could talk about BLT all day. LOVE IT!

Lynn, it was so funny because we were loving the weather and we kept seeing people in winter coats, scarves and gloves. We left 10 degrees and came home to a foot of snow. 50s and 60s was heaven!!

We had an early morning today. As I tried to wake up I could hear the train wistle coming from Magic Kingdom. I got up and went out onto the balcony and watched the ferry boat cross the lake. I looked over to see the castle in the early morning light. I was truely in heaven. I was so excited that this day was finally here. We were headed over to Magic Kingdom for an 8am appoitment for Bippity Boppity Boutique. Feel free to re-read that sentence. Yes, I said I was so excited. Megan didn't really know what it was. She was excited to get to wear her new Cinderella dress that Santa had brought though. I couldn't wait to see her in her dress, with her hair done and a tiara. My little princess. AND we got to be in the Magic Kingdom before most. AND we were meeting up with our great friend Michelle(mkluvsmickey) and her daughter Sam. This day was going to be AWESOME!!!!

Before we knew it we were riding on a practically empty monorail. It was only 7:30 and we were all still half asleep so we opted not to walk to MK this day. We made our way to the the correct waiting area and struck up a conversation with a nice family. They had 3 older boys and 1 girl who up until the week before didn't like princesses. They had an 8am BBB appt and an 8:15 CRT ADR. Ouch! Who's bright idea was that? The travel agent assured her it would work. The poor mom was a nervous wreck watching time tick by.
Here's my sleepy kids waiting to be let into the park.

Finally they let us in! Woo hoo!! Everyone told me an 8:00 appoitment or ADR at Magic Kingdom was so worth it and they were right! This was so cool!! We took our time strolling down Main Street and stopped for a couple Photopass pics. (Coming soon to a trip report near you!)

I teared up watching my kids run towards the castle. All Megan had talked about was getting in that castle and her moment had finally come.
As we reached the hub one of the main street cars drove past. "Good morning Princess!" she shouted to Megan. Megan stopped in her tracks, looked behind her and around. Looked at me and with awe said, "Mommy! She's talking to me!!" It was precious!

We slowly made our way to the boutique door. Savoring the emptiness of the park. They hadn't opened yet and the family we had met earlier was getting nervous. She opened the BBB door and was told they weren't ready yet. She told them the situation and they went to the hostess at CRT to figure out what to do. I felt so bad for her. They were missing out on a great relaxing morning and now they were going to have to rush through the fun makeover for their daughter. It was neat seeing a completely empty Fantasyland.

They finally opened the doors and escorted Princess Megan to her royal makeover chair. She didn't know what to think of it all. She was so cute. She loved the pampering and enjoyed every minute of it! They were very accomodating to the family next to us. They did her hair, makeup and nails all at once and had them out on time! Megan's Fairy Godmother was very sweet. She forgot to put in her Mickey clip in the back and her face jewels. Then I had to ask for more hair glitter. She may have been new, but she was so sweet and appologetic. It was ok, but I'm glad I knew what she was forgeting.

BIPPITY, BOPPITY, BOO!!!!

She LOVED it and couldn't stop smiling. We gathered our princess loot and headed out to get some more pictures before they let everyone else in the park and we snapped out of our magical haze.

Soon it was time to assume our spot at the castle rope. This was our first rope drop ever! As I watched the mass of people flood towards us I shouted out instrutions to the adults so our kids would not be trampled. Let the Dumbo dash begin!!!!

Isn't the Magic Kingdom glorious when it's all empty and you can hear birds chirping and music playing? Ahhh.... Your pictures are wonderful!! I love all the purple flowers in front of the castle.

Thanks Sara. I wouldn't have even thought to make an 8am BBB w/out you so THANK YOU!!! Gotta love my Disney friends! It really was a great morning. My mom got that great shot of the castle and Walt and Mickey. It's our computer wallpaper. I love it!!

It was absolutely worth getting up early for! You're not a dork. You know and love my kids and you know what a special trip this was for us. And of course you were Megan's best friend for the day! It was so great because she didn't remember anything from out last trip so everything was magical and new. It was absolutely the perfect age.

Hey Lisa! I was wondering where you had disappeared to! Thanks! I love those pictures too. Well, you know adults can go to BBB. There was a grown women who was getting a makeover when Megan was. You can actually see her in the mirror in the pics where they turn Megan around to see herself. I'll go with ya! We'll look GOOOOOD!!

Thanks. Yes we were very lucky! Which was nice because we don't always have the luck on our side for things. Megan and Hunter either are sweet as can be to eachother, holding hands and giving compliments or crazy fighting. There's no imbetween w/ them!
