If we dine at CRT on DDP do all parties need to use credits?

We are thinking of going to CRT on our first night. We will be having a big lunch that day though and I know my son will not be hungry so I do not want to use 2 of his ts credits there for him. Since it is not considered a character meal or a buffet will they make me use his credits there? I would like for just dh and I to use 2 ts each and just let him eat from our plates. Can we do this here?

Thanks for any help. I called and asked a cm and she was confused..lol

I could be wrong and someone can correct me, but on the DDP they say no one can share plates with another guest while on the DDP. If you want you can buy him something small and pay opps for it but other then that no.

Sorry!

I'm 99% sure it's all on DDP or none on DDP at CRT.

Hopefully someone who is 100% sure will either confirm what I said or tell me I'm wrong. ;)

There have been some conversations about sharing on the DDP recently. I won't go into that, because I don't know.

But as far as some people on DDP and some on cash, that shouldn't be a problem. We dine with others who aren't on the plan all the time. They'll give you two checks. One for the credits you've used. And one for the cash/charge portion.

Normally that is true but I think CRT is dfferent. I believe everyone has to either pay or use the DDP. I think it's because it's a very popular (pre-paid if you pay with cash) Character meal.

Of course, I'm not 100% sure about this like I said but I think that is the case.

I do a search and see if I can find other threads I've read this on.

Just home today from 7 nights on our 1st trip to Disney. Four of us on the dining plan (DH, DD age 10 and therefore an adult, and DS age 7). At 2 restaurants we were able to order 3 adult meals and share food with DS...they even brought him an extra plate. We got a little off kilter with the dining plan because of the 2 credits needed for a signature restaurant. DD is extremely picky and refused to order from the adult menu. Interestingly, some restaurants made her order from the adult menu.

Thanks for the info guys. After talking about it more we think we will pass of it anyways..lol Just not so sure it would be worth 2ts each. Instead we are going to do the 1900 Park Faire b-fast which I am really excited about. I know it will be pre-plated and in the GF Cafe then but it still sounds really fun with cool characters there. :) I know ds will eat plenty there. :goodvibes
