If we can keep this trip a secret, it will be a Disney miracle! *TR LINK ADDED 12/12!*

I've followed you over here from your October 2014 TR. wishing you the best on your ADRs in the morning. We had no trouble getting what we wanted for Septmeber, but I've been reading it's been hard lately.
I want to do a WDW Christmas trip someday. We did DL and it was fun, but lead to a crazy holiday season at home. DD is a December birthday, so we will probably try for WDW some day :-)

Thanks for joining in! :goodvibes

I'm so excited to see Disney at Christmas! We'll be flying out the Saturday after Thanksgiving (which I'm probably hosting at my house!) so I know this trip will be crazy but I just can't wait!

Yay I'm joining in! So fun that's it's going to be a surprise!

I like how you have lots of ADR options just in case. Can't wait to hear what you end up getting!

Christmas at Disney is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!! If I could plan every one of my trips at Christmastime, I definitely would! ADRs make me obsessively check availability for days, so no, it's not just you!! Once you're done, you can relax...who am I kidding!? You'll have to get thinking about your FPs next!! :) Have fun with all the planning!!! Can't wait to hear how it all comes together.

Thanks for following along! I'm really loving the idea of a surprise! Nate keeps when we are going back and I just tell him "later, in the spring" so he has no idea!

ADR list coming up!

Yay! So glad to hear rave reviews of Christmas. We loved our Halloween trip so much that I'm a little worried Christmas won't live up to it. But how can anything at Disney be bad?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only obsessive planner. My family likes to hear about Disney...some. So it's nice to have a place to get all the planning bugs out!

ADRs...for now!

So I know you all were waiting with bated breath for this day...:rotfl:

180 day mark - it's time to plan all the food!

So I was ready, coffee in hand :surfweb: by 5:55...hitting refresh...and refresh...and refresh...until it opened up at 6:01!

I had my first reservation all ready to go...and it takes me back to the reservation page.

Why??? MDE has been buggy (totally a new problem, right?) and I had been worried about technical issues.

So I gave it another try and success!

I just have to say that all of that pixie dust, luck, and wishes totally worked!

Because I got them all...every single one!

My whole wish list...and then I went back and added more because why not? :confused3

So here's what I have so far:

Saturday 11/28 (Arrival)

Rainforest Cafe @ DTD - 4:30 PM

Sunday 11/29 (DHS)

Sci Fi - 11:00 AM

Sci Fi - 12:25 PM

Monday 11/30 (MK)

Crystal Palace - 10:30 AM

Be Our Guest - 2:20 PM

Tuesday 12/1 (MVMCP)

Ohana - 10:00 AM

Ohana - 10:55 AM

Rainforest, BOG, and Ohana were last minute calls. And I'll drop the repeats of Sci Fi and Ohana once I figure out FP+ and daily plans.

Rainforest was not in the plans but we may want to do dinner at DTD on arrival night, some shopping, and then head over to AKL to explore. I wanted TRex but it was full. Rainforest is a back up and I plan on calling TRex directly to book since I've heard lots of success stories using that method!

BOG was a grab after I had everything booked. I checked more out of curiosity. But then I got to thinking...our CP breakfast/brunch will be a big meal. But a snack (meaning - cupcakes) at BOG wouldn't be a bad thing! I think we'll get a few meals to split and some cupcakes to share! I'm looking forward to seeing the castle!

I did have a Chef Mickey's breakfast booked for our party morning but I called my mom to go over the list and we made the call to switch to Ohana to try something new. We'll spend our party morning checking out the decorations at the monorail resorts as well.

So everything worked out pretty much 100% perfect!

And because this post was text heavy, here's a few recent cute shots of the boys!

Nate at Kindergarten Registration

Colin after he had a "High Five" day at preschool...those are pretty rare as Colin is very "spirited" as his teacher puts it

And Jake playing dress up

That's all for now...thanks for following along! :goodvibes

I was going to suggest calling directly - I've heard that too. The other thing we found out about right before our trip is the Landry's Club (owns Rainforest and T-Rex, among other things). We did this and it worked well. You sign up before your trip and it costs $25, but then you get a $25 credit to use on your bill, so it's a break-even. You also get $25 for your birthday and since yours is when it is, I would guess you could use both on your trip. It also gets you front of the line seating, but I didn't remember to ask for that at T-Rex, oops.

I could get on board with this cupcake plan. ::yes::

Really cute pics of the boys! :lovestruc

So everything worked our pretty much 100% perfect!
Hooray! :banana::banana::banana:

Congratulations on the ADR success!! I can't wait to see your dailies!

Such cute little men!!

YAY I am so happy that you got all the ADRs you wanted! And the pictures of the boys are too cute :)

Hooray for your ADR Day and all the success you had!!! I have never been brave enough to try booking them online Day 1 because it is ALWAYS so buggy!!! I typically have my cell phone dialed and hit send right at the final minute. Last year we had excellent luck, too, even nabbing a dinner reservation at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. AAAAAHH!! I may have screamed in the poor lady's ear!

Love the update pics of you boys :) Our son just finished his Kindergarten year and he was dying all year to reach "Super Student"! It only took him until the FINAL week of school to make it there, so I totally get your "spirited" little guy!!

Hi! :wave2: Joining in!

#1 - It's DISNEY!
#2 - It's Christmas! At DISNEY!

#3 - It's my birthday! At DISNEY!

These are the EXACT same reasons we're taking our trip in December too! :santa:

#4 - This trip will be a surprise for the boys! Shhh...if we can make it that long! :rolleyes1

Us too! :hyper: I cannot tell you how many times my husband or I have *almost* ruined the surprise... :rolleyes1

Crystal Palace is the other meal that we also did last trip. We had a 10:30 ADR for breakfast and it was a great alternative when we couldn't get a pre-park opening ADR. We had some time to do rides before breakfast. The meal was big enough and late enough that we really didn't need to eat lunch. And since we were one of the last breakfast seatings, we had a little more character time. Plus, we got to try breakfast and lunch foods since they were switching over as we were finishing!

So cool! I am glad to read about your perspective on this because we are considering a 10:30 ADR for Crystal Palace. We had a pre-park opening ADR the last time we went and loved it but this time around we won't be able to do that so I thought to myself  - hey, how about a late breakfast... on our arrival day! :scared: Its a risk but one I'm totally willing to take. :thumbsup2

Because I got them all...every single one!

Woohoo!! :jumping1: That's awesome! All your plans sound like so much fun and your family is too cute! Can't wait to hear about everything else you've got up your sleeve!

party: That is awesome! Yay!!! :jumping1:

I'm so happy! Especially since I was hearing horror stories all through May!

:welcome: to the club! :rotfl2:

I was not an ADR hoarder last trip...but now I can see the appeal! It's a little addictive just picking up reservations up left and right when you see them!

Oh I like the idea of joining the Landry's Club! That would be great if I got the $25 birthday credit! Love it! :thumbsup2

I could get on board with this cupcake plan. ::yes::

Cupcakes are never a bad plan and a totally acceptable afternoon snack at Disney! :rotfl:

Really cute pics of the boys! :lovestruc

Thank you! :goodvibes

Woooo! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :woohoo:

Yes! Thank you! :jumping1:

Hey now, just remember... Some of us have to book our ADRs later this week!! :rotfl:

Oh I think there will be ADRs a-plenty for you! The only trouble people seem to be having is at Epcot since I think they are waiting for CP dates. Can't wait to read about your awesome ADR morning! :thumbsup2

Shhhh... it's supposed to be ANONYMOUS!!!! Geez!!! :rolleyes2

So many rules in this new club! :sad2:

Now I get to plan FP+! Because we all know how we all love a plan! :thumbsup2

Congrats on getting all your adr's!

Thank you! I'm so happy with everything! :goodvibes

Yay! Now to send that pixie dust, luck, and wishes Elevationist's way!

FOR REAL, DUDE!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

:tink:Pixie dust sent!

Congratulations on the ADR success!! I can't wait to see your dailies!

Such cute little men!!

Thank you! Now I'm ready to start working out FP+ and plans. I have almost 4 months to obsess over that now!

YAY I am so happy that you got all the ADRs you wanted! And the pictures of the boys are too cute :)

Thank you! I was so worried since people had been having trouble booking for all of November but it went so much smoother than I could have imagined!

MDE is so much trouble sometimes! I was so nervous that it was going to be a disaster but I'm so happy it worked out and that we got everything we wanted!

It's going to be so hard! We talked up our last trip so much and now...nothing. But I can't wait for that moment when we finally tell them. Now I just need to figure out the big reveal! :scratchin

I read about the 10:30 CP breakfast on easywdw and now I think I'm hooked on that time! Getting the 3 boys up and at the park for an 8:00 ADR would be stressful and this time worked out so well for us last year.

I think it's a great arrival day idea, depending on you arrival time! A great way to start your trip!

Woohoo!! :jumping1: That's awesome! All your plans sound like so much fun and your family is too cute! Can't wait to hear about everything else you've got up your sleeve!

Thank you! I'm really happy with the plan right now! And next I get to think about FP+! :thumbsup2
