If we are crazy enough to go at Thksgiving...which days are busiest?

of the whole week...what days are the worst? fri/sat? turkey day??

We are thinking of going Wed/Thurs to the parks...then home on Friday...but we are flexible...

what do you experts think

The days prior to Thanksgiving are busier for sure! Last year and 2009 Turkey Day, Friday and Saturday were fantastic - we were there last year and we'll be there again this year! I suggest you read through *this* and *this* the 2nd *this* talks about Thanksgiving week 2009 - 2010 was no different.

Last year we were there the day after Thanksgiving and the M-T following. It was crowded that day, but not that bad. A CM told me Thanksgiving day was really empty and we were bummed we chose Friday instead.

I recall reading that the days leading up to Thanksgiving were very busy, so I agree if you can maybe try Thanksgiving day and after.

Since our family is back East we go on Thanksgiving Day - its great - not very crowded. We have friends who intentionally plan dinner for late afternoon or early evening and go to the park during the day. We usually celebrate turkey day either the day before or on friday.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving lunner at Mimi's after our mid day nap at HoJo's, we stopped by *with a reservation* before heading back to the parks.

thank you so much for the links...I totally forgot about the AP holders...this makes me completely rethink...we will drive Wed...go to parks THURS and FRI instead...drive home Sat...

That's our plan as well but we'll stay through Saturday *drive home late Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps we'll see you there, for now we're staying at Super 8 - last year I was lucky and got the ent rate at HoJo.

We LOVED Day after Thanksgiving (that whole week following) Not totally crowded. I dunno about leading up to, but if you're there after, you're probably ok

We were there the Sat-Tues leading up to Thanksgiving and while it was busy, it honestly wasn't that bad. Especially if you use the tips from this board (utilizing MM if you have one, fast passes, etc).
