IF there is a long wait for Ohana...

can you take the beeper to the Tambu Lounge and wait there with a cocktail? I'm not familiar with the resort, and I've heard about the yummy drinks there, so I was wondering how close they are to each other. If anyone has done that could you let me know please? Thanks!

That is our preffered area to wait. Makes a 30 min. wait seem like 2 min. The Tambu Lounge is one of our favorites. Maine

The Tambu Lounge is literally right next to 'Ohana.

Just know its crowded at that area - and I do not reccommend the "nachos" they are just fried wontons you get for free at Ohanas - and some diced salsa - very bland and NOT worth the ridiculous price the charge!

We've got ADR's there for our first night I don't mind the wait as long as we can sit and have a cocktail!

We have breakfast ressies at Ohana's the day after Christmas. Will we have a long wait for breakfast, or is the wait usually at dinner?

Beware. There are no real seats in the Tambu lounge. The place is mobbed with people waiting for their ADRs also. Last week there was some fool and his wife and 3 kids taking up the table and chairs in front of the TV. Every time one of his kids got between him and the TV he screamed at them! You would have thought we were all in his personal living room. It is so crowded that folks spill out into the large area with chairs and tables directly outside the lounge. We couldn't even get a seat out there last week. So be prepared to stand.
