Got a question.........
If by chance Disney offers the free dining again in 2010, and you book a package, can you add a person into the room/package after it is made ?
I am toying with the idea of taking my 10 year old nephew with us, but I want to see how budgeting goes before I bring up the idea to his mom. I just wanted to know if we could go ahead and make our plans and then add him to it , when we are ready
Thanks for the info!.

Yes, you can, as long as he doesn't put you over the room's maximum occupancy limit. I did just that Sept '08. I had originally booked free dining for me and my mom. My mom later decided not to go, so I canceled her. About a month before the trip, my husband decided he could go, so I called and added him. About a week later, my mom again changed her mind and so I called and was able to add her too. I only had to pay the third adult in the room fee. Because I had to buy them one day park tickets in order to get the free dining the price of my pkg went up, so I did not even have to pay a change fee, even though I was within 45 days of arrival.

Just FYI: if you decide to change resorts, you can also do that, as long as the resort still has rooms available. I booked free dining in Sept '08 for Sept '09. Several months later I decided to upgrade to a different resort and had no problems doing so.
